You can probably defend all those actions, but then he went and posted the video online, which shows some malicious intent. I can’t say I don’t sympathize with him, because I may have wanted to do the same thing, if it was my roommate, to embarass him into to stopping his disgusting behavior. Still, just because I can symptathize doesn’t mean he didn’t do anything wrong. 30 days in jail was just too stiff a punishment for it, it should have been an academic disciplinary matter.
