Fox just reported that there are 4 people competing for 1 job. Normally there would be 2 competing for 1 job.

I think (hope) that many employers are waiting for the ObamaCare decision to come down before deciding to hire further. I’ve been unemployed the past eight months. The number of openings has shrunk markedly the past two months.

Many employers are waiting to hear how ObamasCare goes and to see if this fool gets re-elected.

A couple of callers in to Rush's show, yesterday, said they'd close shop if he gets re-elected. Not good news for those working (at these places), or looking for work.

Damn republicans. If they would.just pass the presidents jobs bill.then we could all apply for teacher, firefighter, police and government bureaucrat jobs and that would make all those companies surely want to expand and hire more employees.

I love articles like this. Every time I read one I kiss the ground in gratitude for having a job in this economic depression.

Anybody unemployed who votes Democrat this election, and esperically Obama, is hopelessly stupid. You are slitting your own wrist and maybe that of your kids and spouse.

It is worse than that!
I know someone who applied onine for a job in a small town here in Ga. The applicant received an email from the job search website indicating that 72 other applicants had applied for that same job! And it was not even a HIGH paying job! Paid around $32K.

One FReeper said he was putting a sign in front of his house stating it was going on the market if Obama wins.

I recommend going one further, especially if you live in a nice neighborhood. Put a sign in front that states you'll lease your house via Section 8 if Obama wins. THAT will be an attention-getter (and movtivator for the neighbors)!

Well, one job will return, Leonard Pinth-Garnell, with ‘really really bad economy’.

You remember Leonard, he always knew ‘bad’:

Ha! Good luck with selling any real estate, if Bamster wins. Prices will tank, immediately. Section 8 will be coming to neighborhoods, everywhere. Hopenchange on steroids.

The Section 8 “Islands of Crime” do more to destroy good cities than anything. I have lived through it first hand. It is how murder and drug use is introduced into law abiding communities.

The U.S. economic news remains somber?...

O.k. and just when will the media lay that egg on Obama’s head?....never.

It’s way higher based on my experience. I have been told on recent interviews of 40 to 50 resumes per job. One position I applied for had 115 applicants. Employers are barely looking at resumes in detail. I never thought it would be this hard.
