With adults like this, children in this society stand no chance of growing into mature, responsible, and moral citizens. And why a 13 year old needs a smart phone is beyond me.
How awful that the teacher ignored what was going on. In most public schools these days you’d expect the teacher to join in and give instructions.
Why are you surprised? We threw Christ out of the public square back in the 60s and now we have folks agitating for unlimited access to drugs, prostitutes, homosexual vice and other deviant behaviors. Why should this come as a shock in this twisted, disgusting, immoral society we have?

At least they were suspended. My daughter teaches music in a Catholic school, and her 7th and 8th grade boys nominated the most raunchy songs and videos (found on their smart phones) for a class assignment. She had to cancel the assignment, but the principal was not alarmed — seemed irritated that she brought it to his attention.
I spoke to the principal of our local Catholic school to see if this was a problem here, and she says that the kids are not even allowed to bring phones into the school They check them at the door in the morning and pick them up when leaving at night.
Nine male students were suspended from Bell Middle School for allegedly masturbating while looking at pornography on their cell phones during English class. Students were suspended during the month of May, the district confirmed in an e-mail to NBC San Diego.

They’ve been taught in sex ed that porn and masturbation are okay, and that perversion, such as public displays of their sex organs, are normal in this new culture, so what is the problem. We shouldn’t confuse these little boys with bygone standards.
