Republican Mitt Romney said on Tuesday his White House campaign was vetting U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida as a potential vice presidential pick, denying a report that Rubio was not being seriously considered as his running mate. "The story was entirely false, Marco Rubio is being thoroughly vetted as part of our process," Romney told reporters outside an ice cream shop in Holland, Michigan, as he wrapped up a five-day, six-state bus tour of battleground states. It was the first time Romney has publicly acknowledged exploring the background of a potential Republican vice presidential

Naturally, Willard will not miss a chance to disarm the Republicans on the Natural Born Citizen issue.

Your two people won’t get a squat’s azz of votes for their position, so we will still have a OPEN BORDER situation, while you and those who are holding out for fantasy land keep throwing a monkey wrench to help the RATs continue this debacle. Get your act together. Wise up and stop being so ideologically stuck on a fantasy position that it’s playing right into the hands of the people you hate.

And how is Romney or Rubio going to be better?

They've both let the cat out of the bag that they are for Amnesty this week and with respect to Romney's positions on this issue, why would you believe him, since like every other issue near and dear to conservatives, he's been on both sides of this issue and has never come down solidly as being anti-Illegal Immigrant. Furthermore, he is constantly lying, so why would you believe that either of these two clowns, Romney or Rubio will solve the Open-Borders issue?

Neither Romney nor Rubio are Natural Born Citizens. Romney’s father was born in Mexico.

No one in power has ever admitted that Bozo is not an NBC

Bozo himself is in power. Ever read his book?

The State of Hawaii refused to confirm the man's eligibility to be President of the United States.

Since when do we accept word of mouth over documentation in this nation? (that there is precedent!)

Was Romney’s father a U.S. “citizen” at the time of Romney’s birth?

And how is Romney or Rubio going to be better?

How? By doing something about the border immediately, instead of playing BS games like Bush and the current administration. You can whine all you want about people already here, but if you keep whining about it and doing nothing about the border now, you'll continue to get what we've gotten since Reagan was president, which is NOTHING! So, stop whining about the people here (which they will be deal-with) and get behind people who are going to STOP the illegals already coming in. You are playing into the distraction that the RATs want. You are falling for their game-plan.

Your plan (Rubio’s plan) is nothing but appeasement and surrender to criminality.

That's BS, and you know it. You know that it will be impossible to round up and deport ALL of these people, and this country's elected officials will not do it. SO..... we are left with NOTHING BEING DONE AT ALL ABOUT ANYTHING!

I am also sick and tired of NOTHING being done about the border control by both DEMOCRATS and .... Republicans! and also hearing YOU PEOPLE whine about Rubio and his plan to ELIMINATE the problem.

LET'S GET SOMETHING DONE IMMEDIATELY!!! Which includes TIGHT border enforcement, and arresting and deporting all those who we can round up immediately that have come into this country within a certain period of time - BUT YOU NEED TO HAVE STRUCTURE TO THE PROCESS or else you are not being realistic and WE GET NOTHING DONE AT ALL!

There is no precedent. Until it is officially acknowledged that Bozo is NOT NBC then there is no precedent. Get a clue.

The statements from some of these people are no different than if we had RAT trolls abounding all around. I can't tell the difference anymore.

Until it is officially acknowledged that Bozo is NOT NBC

Well then, by those standards Marco Rubio is eligible.

So what CONSERVATIVE actions do you believe that Romney/Rubio will do concerning the border given their latest revelations concerning their Pro-Amnesty positions?

Doing something to be doing something if it is not rooted in conservative thought/policies is worth next to nothing.

We had plenty of that with McCain and the rest of the Pretend Republicans.

Why do you think the Pretend Republican Romney (who is constantly lying) along with his Amnesty Queen Rubio are going to do something worthwhile from a conservative position where the border is concerned?

Not true. As Arizona has proven, once even the THREAT of enforcement becomes real, illegals start packing up to leave. The same thing would happen on a national level once we make serious efforts to enforce the law and penalize businesses that hire illegals.

The solution is quite simple, but you choose to believe that it is impossible because you’ve surrendered to the GOPe/DNC/Illegal aliens.

Rubio’s plan does NOT eliminate the problem. It is the same promise we have always gotten. Give us amnesty, and we’ll enforce immigration law.

How about we forget the amnesty part for a change?
