Only a quarter of Arab-Americans are Muslim (religion being a primary reason why they or their ancestors came here) and also only a quarter of Muslims in America are Arabs. Arab Muslims are basically tied with homegrown Black Muslims for second place with largest single group being people from Pakistan, Bangledesh, and India.
It’s the Black Muslims who seem to have the most political power, at least outside of certain towns in Michigan.
