The comment Obama made to Sarah Brady that he was working on gun control 'under the radar' may tell the tale. It is not a stretch to see F&F being cooked-up by the WH to smuggle American guns into Mexico and then go into overdrive to demand new gun control laws to deal with the problem (a phony problem that they created).
