Tribune argues it's irrelevant in news
According to a statement in the Chicago Tribune, reporting on the race of individuals involved in news events, such as mobs attacking, robbing and vandalizing, is irrelevant.
A news anchor at the ABC affiliate in Chicago goes even further: Anyone who reads or writes about the epidemic of racial violence in Chicago is an “idiot” who engages in “meaningless … race baiting,” says Ravi Baichwal.
City officials and the media might be the only two places left where people still deny Chicago is under assault from more than 50 episodes of black mobs attacking, beating, robbing and vandalizing over the last three years in and around downtown. Many of them are on display at YouTube.
Some call it the “Chicago Intifada.”
Over just the last two weeks, black mobs are under investigation in at least five new violent incidents in downtown Chicago.
And according to the award-winning police blog Second City Cop, there may be 25 more incidents of mob violence and lawlessness in that weekend alone that were never reported.
“As someone who worked in downtown Chicago for many years, I am horrified that residents are not only not being protected by the police, but that the city and media are actively denying the public the facts they need to fulfill the most basic of human rights; protecting themselves,” said Michelle Jacobsen. “The police and media have three basic purposes; serve, protect, inform. Their purposely miserable failure is putting lives in danger.”

The very fact that news outlets leave out the race when blacks are involved pretty much tells the reader what race it was.
Their cover up is blown by their own deception.

Well, I guess the next step is for the police and the media to stop reporting these incidents at all even in a sanitized fashion. The police might also no longer respond in certain parts of the city or blame the whites for being targets.
These reports are false. Every thinking person knows blacks love whites and would never hurt them. There is absolutely no possibility that blacks would want to exterminate or enslave whites. Hate mongers must be promulgating these stories of black violence. We all know that “Our Diversity Is Our Strength.”
As Sowell observed, the powers-that-be understand that if there is anything worse than a one-sided race war, it is a two-sided race war, especially when one side is so vastly outnumbered.

While considering the overall problem, it might be useful to remember the role of the current Mayor of Chicago in the early Obama Administration. No, this is not directly Obama's fault; but he certainly has not had a history of promoting good will between the races! Quite the opposite!!

I have a close friend who works in the “juvenile” state facility in Joliet, Illinois. He tells me word among the black “youths” there is that it is “open season” on white people in Downtown Chicago because they know there is no concealed carry law in Illinois. This is right from the belly of the beast and merits reflection.
From what I’ve read the race war is in full swing and hardly confined to Chicago.

Know a guy who works at the airport. Part-time and works for flight benefits. Has a professional other career but at airport does menial work: dumping lavs and throwing bags. The position requires full security clearance. Has a birth certificate and a “real” university degree, backed with a transcript. A clear driving record and passed drug screening. The man/child Barry Soetoro would NOT qualify to even get on the grounds.
