Democrats to intercept Supreme Court ruling on immigration

I am posting it upon news today on Fox that the Dems are preparing open warfare against a SCOTUS decision to back the Arizona law. Per Fox, Dems allied with open border La Raza types will use endless lawfare and intimidation to overturn this law if it is upheld by SCOTUS.

The Supreme Court hears arguments Wednesday over Arizona’s immigration-crackdown law, but Democrats are already preparing for a potential loss by saying they’ll try to pass legislation stripping states of the power to enact their own immigration rules.

Sen. Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat, said his legislation would establish federal primacy in immigration by blocking states from taking any action. That would not only preclude state law enforcement efforts like the Arizona model now before the court, but also would overturn a Supreme Court ruling last year that upheld a different Arizona law requiring businesses to verify their workers’ legal status.

“I believe it is simply too damaging to our economy and too dangerous to our democracy to have 50 states doing 50 different things with regard to immigration policy,” said Mr. Schumer, chairman of the SenateJudiciary Committee’s immigration subcommittee, as he convened a hearing on Arizona’s crackdown law, known as S.B. 1070.

Under that law, which Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed in 2010, police are required to check the legal status of those who they reasonably suspect are in the country illegally. The law also requires legal immigrants to carry their papers with them at all times when in the state.

The Obama administration has sued to block the law, arguing that it interferes with the federal government’s right to set immigration policy.

The States have the right to enforce Federal law even if the Feds are unwilling to do so.

This law would be superfluous and in direct contravention to the 10th Amendment.

I would like to hear any evidence there has ever been a more incompetent and disastrous presidential administration than this one. They believe they are bigger than the law. In their mind, anyone who disagrees must be destroyed. This includes citizens, judges, and foreign leaders. November cannot come soon enough.

The Federal Government is, and has been remiss in their handling of one of their primary duties. What the “H” do we need the Federal Government for if they can’t handle the job they were created by the Founders to perform?

I doubt that the Senate would ever pass such a bill; and the probability of its doing so would be further diminished if the GOP were to take control of the upper chamber next January, as it very well could.

And, even if this proposed bill were (somehow) to pass the Senate, it would surely be a no-go in the House...

It's quite obvious that the LDPC Community (Libs/Dems/Progs/Commies) honors respects and pays allegiance to to their own subversive set of principles, at the expense of our Constitution, time honored traditions and institutions.

LDPC’s are responsive and loyal to a thinly hidden set of principles revolving around concepts such as “Social Justice. Our Constitution is an impediment to achieving their agenda.”

They feel justified in being stealthy and duplicitous because they are convinced that they are acting as modern day Robin Hoods.

In our dreams, maybe, but in reality, he'd have to be impeached or removed as an ineligible usurper. Unless he admitted to his forgeries and lies, there's probably not enough time before the election to get him on the second point. Impeachment MIGHT work, but seeing the Senate remove him does not seem possible without a shift to a Republican majority.

Agreed , BUT we do not know what elese Obama intends to do in terms of conduct. We may find that he will become so outrageously fascist that his arrest will indeed be warranted.
