Actually, it's amazing that during an existential crisisa crisis that is economic, cultural and political, and that bears on our role and purpose in the worldboth candidates for our highest office have felt free to be so . . . well, insubstantial. Hey! Peggy! We had a substantial candidate. You and your Liberal friends in the media told her to go back to Alaska.

What he revealed is that he doesn't know the case for his own re-election. I don't know about that. I just got a notice from the dems that sounds pretty enticing, and may lure me to the other side. I'm sure I won't be alone, as hundreds of thousands of other conservatives take this bait. Romeny is now toast. Here is their incredible offer:
"Having you join our 2012 effort is important to us. So we want to sweeten the deal.
By donating today, not only will you become a contributing member this year, but you'll also be automatically entered to be one of four Democrats we'll fly to Washington D.C. to meet our Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, for lunch -- airfare and hotel are on us."

Over 40% of all voters in America believe in this man and what he is doing to the country. These are your neighbors, your co-workers, many of your local officials, the people who you pay to teach your children and the people you pay to entertain you.

Been true for a while, the more Obama speaks the worse he does.
Imho, one can review Obama’s speeches and they always have been glaringly radical/ ill informed. But the media and public just accepted that he was giving brilliant speeches.
His great “race” speech contained insane marxist assertions, he accused doctors of routinely performing uneccessary surgery on children, etc.

You do know, don’t you, that opposing 0bama is “racist”.
This is the main theme they’ll run on, behind the scenes.

LOL! Looks as though the bloom is finally off the rose for Peggy Precious. Her latest work has quite a different take from her prior articles concerning Obama and his presidency.
These champagne-sipping, sleep-walking, Beltway-conservative Obama-zombies are beginning to awaken and have begun to cite the glaring flaws in Obama that escaped their attention in the 2008 election. Apparently they were so blinded by their embarrassment over Bush's lack of eloquence and so over awed by Obama's that they couldn't see Obama for the leftist tyro that most conservatives did.

"The case for Barack Obama, in broad strokes:
He has within him the possibility to change the direction and tone of American foreign policy, which need changing; his rise will serve as a practical rebuke to the past five years, which need rebuking; his victory would provide a fresh start in a nation in which a fresh start would come as a national relief. He climbed steep stairs, born off the continent with no father to guide, a dreamy, abandoning mother, mixed race, no connections. He rose with guts and gifts. He is steady, calm, and, in terms of the execution of his political ascent, still the primary and almost only area in which his executive abilities can be discerned, he shows good judgment in terms of whom to hire and consult, what steps to take and moves to make. We witnessed from him this year something unique in American politics: He took down a political machine without raising his voice."
