Wrong question. It should be "In light of the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, should the requirement for any license or permit to own or carry a firearm be eliminated for all adult citizens?"

What a weird bill. Active duty military personnel of any age can already carry in Georgia without a license. They’re also exempt from the restrictions that Georgia weapons carry license holders have, and can carry basically anywhere a police officer can.

If they want reciprocity and exemption from NICS checks, they can get a nonresident permit from any of several states that have better reciprocity than GA does. As far as I can tell, this bill changes nothing and benefits no one.
