But there are more good things under heaven than these beliefs. For me, the most important is the equal dignity of homosexual love. I don’t believe that opposite-sex and same-sex relationships are the same, but I do believe, with growing numbers of Americans, that the time for denigrating or stigmatizing same-sex relationships is over.

Men living together are friends. Women living together are friends. It is that simple.

Basic biology says that they cannot be spouses because only a man and a woman can achieve true sexual union. Male/male or female/female union is achieved by means of sexual perversion that leads to both physical and mental health problems. Plus deviant sexual acts add risk to the health and safety of the general population via AIDS and STDs.

Pretending that homosexual behavior is "normal" is either stupid or insane or both! It is wrong to covet what you cannot have; it is wrong to pretend that perverse and risky behavior is normal. No matter how hard they try to be upright and responsible caretakers, sexual deviants are likely to commit acts of child endangerment somewhere along the line during the child's development, in my opinion.

Agreed. And this is why it is so very, very strange that Blankenhorn has suddenly announced his reversal on this issue. He always said basically what you have set forth here. Someone got to him. But how?

“Where is the dignity in sexual perversion”?

to put the pervsion-proponent on the defensive, and force them to explain their position.
