Didn’t more than $ 50 Million and maybe up to $100 Million get spent on Fast & Furious? Yet only 2000 Assault Weapons changed hands! At a generous $2000 per Weapon, that only accounts for $ 4 Million of Taxpayer funds!And now we know the Agencies were ordered to stand down and no tracing or investigative expenses!! Where did the Money GO???
P.S! We know the Gun Runners PAID FOR THEIR WEAPONS WITH CASH!! so forget the $ 4 Million I wrongly stated that the American Taxpayer would normally be charged for these Weapons! If in fact FAST and FURIOUS!! was actually Legitimate and Honest!!
I am beginning to think like you do. I don’t think that Obama/Holder/Napolitano really believed that increased Mexican and border violence because of lax US gun laws, even if proven, would be enough to convince the American public to throw out the 2nd amendment. It is too much of a stretch, the chance of it working that way is not sure enough to justify the risk of such an operation. It is more likely something worse than the current narrative from our side.
