Try WROR 105.7, WZLX 100.7 etc.
The new format means they’re going after the younger audience that listens to Kiss—and is often ranked #1 or close to it.

Clear Channel registered some domains related to “Amp” or “103.3” and when people go there expecting to find the site for CBS’s Amp 103.3, they’ll wind up at...Kiss 108 instead.
We’ll find out around July 23 what Clear Channel is doing with 101.7; one rumor being a simulcast of talk 1200—could be Spanish, who knows...
Radio is really going nuts with changes. Two new sports networks will start: CBS Sports, in association with Cumulus, and NBC Sports, in association with Dial Global
(who have network radio rights for the NFL). Rumor has it
Sports hub could pick up the CBS network (overnights). Clear Channel’s Premiere syndicates Fox sports, which could wind up (come January) on 1200 or 1430. WEEI could dump ESPN for NBC sports so they can get network football.

A supremely bizarre letter from Patches
By Howie Carr | Thursday, June 28, 2012 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists

We’re doomed.

At least that’s what Patches Kennedy says in his non-compos-mentis fundraising screed. Win or lose at the Supreme Court today, Democrats “are in for a tough fight,” says ex-U.S. Rep. Kennedy, D-Ambien.

Even by Patches’ hysterical standards, this letter is over the top. I haven’t seen him this excited since that rumor that the CVS in Portsmouth, R.I., was about to run out of Vicodin and in his rush to get to the pharmacy, he turned his green ’97 Mustang with the “Gephardt for President” sticker into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

“If the Court upholds the law, dangerous Tea Party extremists will go on a rampage.”

A rampage? Need I remind you, Patches, more people have died in your grandmother’s ’67 Oldsmobile Delmont than in all the Tea Party “riots” combined.

But forgive him his hyperbole. It’s just the Long Island iced tea talking.

“Backed by Super PACs and shadowy front groups like Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS —”

Shadowy? Give the kid extra points for using “shadow” and not referring to illegal aliens living therein. Not bad for the runt of the litter’s runt of the litter.

But Patches learned something over the course of all those 2 a.m. votes in Congress that he got to without turning his car lights on.

(How did Patches put it once — “I myself have educated myself.”)

“— they’ll do everything in their power to defeat President Obama, demonize Democrats who fought for health care reform and, if they win the election, dismantle the law piece by piece.”

Demonize Democrats? Are these the same Democrats who are now refusing to attend the national convention in Charlotte, who are planning to vote to hold the attorney general in contempt this afternoon? Patches, are your former colleagues in Congress more worried about “shadowy front groups” ... or their own constituents?

In your own congressional district, Patches, the Republican candidate is leading your successor by double digits. The Rhode Island Legislature is acting like Republicans. The nearest thing to you in Rhode Island politics right now is the governor’s son, Caleb — who was busted for buying beer underage.

I know, it’s all the fault of Karl Rove, up there in the sky piloting the Halliburton Hurricane Machine as Dick Cheney radios him his dastardly orders. ...

And all Patches is looking for to save the non-working classes is three bucks.

A measly three bucks! Not even enough to buy a draft Old Milwaukee at Au Bar, if it even existed anymore. ...

“That’s why I’m counting on you to stand with me. ...” Even if, like Patches, you’re having a problem standing.

Once, he says, Americans “lived in fear of bankruptcy because of illness.”

Now, they fear bankruptcy because we’re in a depression, as Joe Biden, another Democrat mastermind, truthfully but unwittingly put it yesterday.

Hey Patches, whichever way the decision goes this morning, be sure to keep your arms out. It’ll make it harder for the guys in the white coats to throw a net over you.
