I’m starting to believe in Divine intervention with regard to Obama’s (AKA Wile E. Coyote) campaign. Virtually all the blatant attack strategies have blown up in the Won’s face: Doggate, smear of Mrs. Mittens, Catholic Church fiasco, Bain .....you name it. Just last week the MSM was laying the groundwork to celebrate the Nixon Watergate anniversary and BAM, Obama is forced to use executive privilege. I tell ya, the Big Guy may still care about America.
When people focus on John Edwards cheating on his wife while she was dying of cancer, they can forget that he made his fortune selling junk science to juries so that they would bankrupt companies like Dow Corning and put thousands of people out of work. But Trial Lawyers and other Democrat heroes are not to be criticized for their bad behavior or bad results, after all.
So it's not even worth mentioning that Elizabeth Edwards also benefited from her husband's destruction of American industry. It might have been ironic, if not in bad taste, if Rielle Hunter had silicon implants.
I have high hopes for Marco Rubio ... I don’t think he’ll be veep candidate this time but that might be even better for his future.
I'm sick and tired of the double standard! And, yeah I know two wrongs don't make it right.I still want fairness.
I agree. Shep is horrible and one wonders why they keep him on as he is obviously ill and seems totally uninterested and snide about everything.
Obama never takes responsibility for his own actions and many of his followers do not want to take responsibilty for their own lives. They want the government to take care of them! The opposition is expected to agree because the system is not fair for everyone. Those who have worked hard, are expected to feel guilty for their success.
You could be right, we shall see. We,the New Media, may be to keep it alive.
Rubio, to DNC Dave, on whether he would advocate using money from closing tax loopholes to lower the deficit:
“I reject the premise of your question...”
I wish I heard that more often from GOPers.
I sure hope you are right!
That is the biggest question around right now. Who will Romney pick?
It seems when Democrats and Obama and the Media attacks
Romney, it becomes a boomerang process, where attacks come back an hit those who intitiated them. They use Executive force but some of it backfires.
Thanks, Kahuna.
The Dallas Morning News (the paper I hate with every fibre of my being, but still pay for) had a big front page story about Bain a couple of days ago. They are still pushing the idea that companies failed under Bain while Romney profited.
Even after everyone else gives up on a liberal talking point, the DMN pursues it.
By the way, the female columnist who appears twice a week wrote a column about abortion from the side of the poor girl who wants one but now has to endure all the restrictions put on by Texas and Perry (i.e. watch a sonogram, etc.).
I didn’t bother to write her but hundreds of people did, calling her well-deserved names.
Don’t know why the paper keeps her on (well, I do, but ...) she is neither amusing nor a deep thinker.
There is a small percentage of the populace who are informed enough to understand what is going on day to day.
There are large percentages of people who are just sleep wallking, drinking their beer, watching sports and going to work. I talked to a guy in the grocery store yesterday who knew nothing about Fast and Furious; he thought it was just a movie!
I'm glad I stepped out of the way. You did much better than I would have. Good job at doing this EVERY WEEK.
Liberals want to be judged on their good intentions. Conservatives want to be judged on their good results. No one ever said the road to hell is paved with good results.
I know many Republicans are withholding checks to the Republican Party until they see some aggressive action against these possible crimes.

One thing I noted about Rubio’s narrative (and this young man does quite a good job in interviews) is his denial of being in favor of the so-called “Dream Act”.
Well of course. Make the innocent children of illegals eligible to citizenship just based on their innocense of the actions of their parents and soon enough we’d have an onslought of illegals trying to get into this country, adolescents and babies in tow, all to get their children American citizenship. I’d do the same thing if I lived in a horrid place like Cuba.
Lookit, this country needs a comprehensible immigration policy, one that makes sense, one that us boobaloobs out here in la-la land know CAN be formulated. We have locks and fences out here where we carry the country on our backs. There’s huge computers, goodness, push a button, info obtained. We ain’t buying this nonsense that the mighty US of A can’t control its borders.
What needs to happen, hell I’ll say it, is for Romney to appoint a panel composed of experts on the matter of immigration and make sane and sensible recommendations and for congress to do the deed.
One more thought, this ignoring of the major job of our federal gubmint....that of protecting our borders....is being done for political purposes. The Dems want to make the legal Latinos happy as so many of them have illegal relatives and I suspect there’s hope that a country full of illegal aliens a bunch of them can illegally vote. For Democrats, of course.
I’m not at all sure I buy that. Delaware’s full of Ecuadorians and such and just by my anecdotal experience, these are people who keep a low profile, are law-abiding, I don’t at all see them as rabid liberals wanting to run out and illegally vote for a Democrat. They just want to live quiet isolated lives and not be bothered.
And a lot of them have legal relatives, I dunno, there’s a whole human smuggling industry here in the swamps to get workers for the Purdues and such. Those legal relatives too are not flaming liberals...I know it’s just anecdotal and very unscientific but you’ll never convince me that Latinos want to run voting for the Democrats. Most of them are Catholic too so add the animosity of Democrats to the Catholics....and....well, those are my thoughts on the matter.
Nice of you to say, Laz.
AB is so dependable.
Note that I’m getting a lot of “service temporarily unavailble”. Keep hitting refresh, folks, it will eventually work.
So many Sundays this happens, only on Sunday mornings. Why?
