Correction, “the old msm” is in for a very rude awakening come this November.

Come on SCOTUS, I’m dying to light up the biggest, fastest cigar I can find. Then I’m going to NH to pick up some fireworks.

If Obamacare is struck down this date will be forever marked as a day I will gladly celebrate in some fashion, honking my horn, setting off fireworks, taking a day off when possible to have a barbecue.

And I would support it to be a national holiday, a say for freedom.

A day Marxism had a giant “Kick me” posted on its back.

A day that will stick to the supporters like Pelosi like a pigeon dump on a beehive hairdo.

It will be a day when all those in offices of the Communist Party USA all have simultaneous heartburn.

Oh it will be a glorious day to remember, when America stands proud and united!

I have to ask myself, what happens if the mandate is upheld?

There will be another round of unprecedented economic "duck and cover" as citizens, private business and corporations realize there is absolutely no way to dodge the financial bullet headed our way.

Private businesses will shut their doors, corporations will rush to protect their investor's assets possibly including mass downsizing, there will be a pronounced transfer of wealth to whatever perceptible safe financial harbors exist and quite likely a larger number of new expatriots than we've ever seen previously. Think economic Armageddon

But other than that, nothing.

Dear Lord, please look favorably on America once again, and let these judges rule on the side of freedom—the same freedom that so many have sacrificed for, even to this very day.

We have lost our way as nation, but, in Your grace and mercy, may we see that You are not done with us.

Please break the hold of evil on our people, and allow freedom to triumph.

Even in the times of Israel and Judah,You would relent of Your righteous judgment if some, even only a few, could be found to stand in the gap for You.

We need Your light to shine in the present darkness.

Amen.

If part or all of the bill is struck down, it will be a hoot to watch Nanzi spin away.

Yes, Communist and Socialist support Democrats because they know that is the fastest way to destroy the rights of states and individuals guaranteed in US Constitution.

I imagine the economy as a man teetering on the edge of a cliff, waiving his arms attempting to keep from falling, but you can see he’s gonna fall, in spite of the arm waving.

And if the court upholds the mandate, it’s like pushing him. It speeds up the inevitable.

Hmmmmm. Maybe I should be rooting for the mandate... ;-)

Single payer commie care will never pass Congress. They will have to go back to the drawing board and alter the bill in some way to make it financially viable both for private insurers and for those who purchase health care plans.

The only way Obamacare had a prayer of working was the individual mandate. Without that, it is worthless and even Democrats know that.

When Obama, Pelosi, Reid lose on Obamacare, it’s going to be a very very interesting time to cook up some popcorn and watch the meltdown

Assume nothing. The SCOTUS has issued very disappointing rulings before.

Without that, it is worthless and even Democrats know that.

My recollection is that the act originally had a severability clause, but since it couldn't be funded without full participation, the severability clause was deleted, because if the mandate was not upheld, Congress wouldn't support it with the severability clause included. Am I correct?

If I am, it seems to me that Congress' intent was clearly to void the bill if the mandate isn't upheld. And if that is the case, the USSC should really look to Congress' intent, and void the entire bill if they hold the mandate to be unconstitutional.

Is my interpretation correct?

It is a national hypocrisy when citizens have to prove they have health insurance but proof of citizenship is not needed!

I’ve read that the IRS not only has access to your bank account activity but they can even “automatically” deduct fees/fines directly from your account.

Experts say ... ? Anyone?
