The Supreme Court struck down much of Arizonas immigration law, SB-1070, but upheld the controversial provision that would require police to question peoples immigration status if officers have reasonable suspicion theyre here illegally. What do you think of the Supreme Courts decision?
I agree with the decision, The entire law should have been upheld, The entire law should have been struck down.

Study the decision then modify the law to accommodate the Court’s objections. Rinse, lather, repeat.

It is nice to voice our opinion by freeping a poll, and 79% of those polled believe that Arizona had the right to enact and enforce laws within their borders to exclude foreign invaders, but what good do they do? Obviously those in government - congress, the courts, every one of them, answer to someone else but the people. They have forgotten that:
They derive their power from the consent of the governed!

If the poll publishers get the results they want then they use those results to make news with.
By pushing the results the other way it either takes that option away from them or dilutes the effectiveness of that technique.
I agree with your assessment of our government.
