Most voters still want an immigration law like Arizona’s in their own state and hope the U.S. Supreme Court upholds the legality of the Arizona law this week. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters would like to see the Supreme Court uphold the law that Arizona adopted to reduce illegal immigration in the state. Just 26% would like to see the high court overturn the law. Nineteen percent (19%) are undecided.

Roberts and Kennedy are writing the majority opinion, according to the source sited last night Ginsberg was writing the dissent.

Pray that the source is correct and then plan a BIG party for July 4th! Double the fireworks!

Well the SCOTUS ruling tosses the resolution of this squarely back to the ballot box.

Will the 55% show up and vote their conscience?

Yesterday’s stance by Kennedy gives me a great deal of worry about the outcome of the Obamacare ruling. If his point is the states can’t “overrule” federal law, how is he going to apply a different finding this time... the states were the plaintiffs here.

I’m not optimistic... at all.. about what we’re going to hear Thursday morning.

Silly USAian, your nation is just part of NAFTA. USG cares about you in regards to NAFTA and Internation edicts, only. Your own laws which authorize USG, are merely a nuisance to a new way, their way.

For normal people, this would seem to be a self-destructive act. Obviously, if you antagonize enough voters, you won’t be re-elected and, hopefully, all the harm you’ve done will be undone in the first weeks of the new administration.

However, all bets are off with Obama and his posse of clowns as they do not seem to be normal people.

Of course you are not optimistic, you never are, so why start now?

I am not counting my chickens, but there are positive indications that it will be ruled unconstitutional that have been discussed here on FR in last 24 hours.

Even if it is ruled unconstitutional, people here will pout and moan all day that “the fix” is still in and that the decision meant nothing since Soros controls both Roberts and Boehner.

Romney is pathetic and will fail when he’s exposed as Obama light in the debates. He’s benefiting in the polls from most of the public not knowing his policies and lack of conviction.
I want Zero gone because even Romney will have to have some conservatives around him in his administration. At least there will be some slow down toward insanity if Romney wins. Look it, the main goal this election cycle for us is to vote conservative for congressman/senators on a national and local level. THIS is the only way things will really change; ground up.

Anyway, we all know the majority of people are for controlling illegals, and it’s utterly baffling why the Republicans on a national level will not come out and support Arizona and call for enforcing the immigration laws on the Federal level.

I don’t believe he will (Roberts vote to uphold Obama care) but we will know Thursday.

I hope the continuing actions by this dictator/president will finally show the light to the people who say they won’t vote for Romney, which is, of course, a vote for Obama or at least half a vote if you want to count it that way.

It’s pretty obvious now that Obama would destroy our country in four more years.

The way he’s acting now while facing an election is nothing compared to what he would do if he was assured another term.

There is no way that Romney would not be a thousand times better. I hope people wake up to that.

I don’t know what else Obama could do to warn us ... except maybe enact a mandate to kill all the sons born in the country.

Scares me that only 55% of the country supports this... we are at a tipping point where half the nation says ...”H*ll, let ‘em all in”..... :(

Not half according to his poll ...it’s 26% are against the Arizona law, and 55% support the Arizona law.
The rest are undecided.

- O'Backdoora can still be impeached after he leaves office.....

Something like:

19 Democrats in Congress

15 Republicans in Congress

Were quickly involved in insider trading when the economy came apart.....

- They all belong in prison!

Why did Martha Stewart go to prison?
Yet these members of Congress just walk!

Yeah. Just as there were "positive indications" SB-1070 would be upheld. Remember?

“I don’t understand whats so hard, we have to do everything in our lives legal, why the hell do they get a pass..”

Good people are partly unwilling pawns for other’s pursuits of greed, lust, power, vice and ultimately control.
While some, 10-30%?, sellout for a few peices of silver.

Most people have a sense of fairness and are generally decent. While the “few (increasing in numbers)bad apples” don’t give a crap as long as they get a peice of the pie.

We know we our overall way of life is being purposely altered. “They” have spent us into a hole we may not be able to crawl out of. “They” have intentionally created an entaglement of BARACKeaucracies. They have intentionally made mockery of our laws, our beliefs, and our way of life.
“They” have intentionally tried to provoke some sort of race wars.
And who doesn’t believe if they could they would confiscate our guns?
All this is obviously not in the name of Life, Liberty, or the Pursuit of happiness.
It is in the name of control.
“They” pick and choose what we eat or if we drill or what kind of lightbulb use or car we drive...and on an on.
Because there is no satifying what are a handful of egomanical control freaks.
Are only hope, I have come to not like that word, is we can turn this around. In the meantime its like we are sitting ducks in a row while Team Obama picks us off one by one.
If the people at the top are powerless to do anything about it, I don’t believe they are but some are willing, than what can the little guy do?
Vote for Romney..?..pffft

Lets face it very few people like the idea of rewarding those who cut in line.

They call the children of immigrants who had no choice but to follow their parents innocent, and no doubt they are in that regard. But to allow them to stay is nonetheless to reward and justify their parents illegal behavioral.

The issue however here is whether or not a State can enforce the law. The Federal Employees in black-robes have decided to side with their masters. on this which to be frank is to say only Washington can enforce(or in this case fail to enforce) their own laws.

The way they did this is as Thomas Pointed out disturbing as they stepped upon the rights of our people and their States in doing so.
