Barack Obama suggested that any decision by the US Supreme Court to overturn his landmark healthcare law would send the country “backwards” and that Americans did not want to “re-fight” the battle over healthcare.

Are people in Nevada still ticked-off at him for goofing up the tourist industry?

We won’t be refighting this battle, not unless
Obama wants to double down and reinforce failure,
then we’d be glad to kick ass.

Sounds like a threat to rule by decree and armed force.

Time for Boehner to get ready to call out the miltia ~ even though that's going to require some brave souls over in the Senate to take out the far left first so we can get a fair vote.

Could be a hot summer.

He has his VETO pen waiting. Just VETO the SCOTUS just like you did the US Constitution the first time when you refused to prove your eligibility because you wanted to prove to the American people that it’s dead.

I don’t believe the office of the Presidency has any veto power over the Supreme Court.

He can choose to simply ignore their findings, however, and as long as the chief law enforcement guy is his appointee, he has pretty free rein to reign.

Keep this little tidbit in mind when you enter the voting booth in November. Lame ducks have notoriously little effective power left, and whatever he does, can and will be rescinded only a few weeks later.

I wouldn’t put it past him. There is no one who will stop him. The Founding Fathers assumed a measure of honor of those who would make it to the upperlevels of government. Neither obama or holder qualify as honorable.

Obamacare was supposed to be his legacy....and a second chance to humiliate a white woman named Hillary.

The sitting Dem Reps have just been soooooooo stupid throughout his term.

Hope they're working on their resumes.

He also claimed Obamacare passed with an ‘overwhelming’ majority. But, like the ‘Stimulus’ before it, Not one Republican voted for Obamacare. He lies with impunity. We call him on his lies but the vast masses in the USA don't hear us as Big Media doesn't report anything much that we say. I once told a Lib friend that not one Republican voted for Obamacare and he said ‘Really? No Kidding?’

I just got a feeling he knows the ruling and he likes it. He doesn’t need to threaten the justices. He already got to him.

Just imagine what Patrick Leahy and Dianne Feinstein would be saying on the nightly news if a Republican president had issued such a "warning."

Just imagine the things Lawrence Tribe and Laurence Tribe would be saying.

I wouldn't be surprised if the leadership of a Democrat-controlled Senate went on the record stating that no more judicial nominees would be considered as long as the current President is in the White House, and further adding that this policy would include nominees to replace vacancies at the Supreme Court. They would then have Chuck Schumer, Leahy, etc., on the Sunday shows, explaining that they would block all further nominees to the federal court system from this President because he had demonstrated that he didn't understand the function of the court under our Constitutional System of Government. They would explain, in stentorian tones, how they were taking this unprecidented step in order to protect the American Way of Life.

Bob Schieffer would nod solemnly.

I can only dream of nobama talking to his grifter-loser wife, moocher, with a glass wall between them in Leavenworth on visitation day. That thought gives me some relief from this anti-Free-America poseur.

How can one be a lame duck if he has a history of notoriously by-passing Congress in his first term?

Americans did not want to “re-fight” the battle over healthcare.

After Commiecare™ is overturned? He's right.
