10 Things That Will Happen If Barack Obama Continues To Systematically Legalize Illegal Immigration

Barack Obama seems completely obsessed with systematically legalizing illegal immigration. The United States borders a failed narco-state that is one of the most crime-ridden nations on the entire planet, but Barack Obama refuses to secure the border and the consequences for the American people have been absolutely catastrophic. Right now it is already costing us tens of billions of dollars a year to provide welfare for illegal immigrants and to educate their children in our public schools. Right now illegal immigrants are already working millions of jobs that should belong to American workers. Right now Mexican drug cartels are already active in more than 1,000 U.S. cities. But apparently that is not good enough for Barack Obama. He wants to roll out the red carpet and give the green light to tens of millions more illegal immigrants. Last year, Obama issued a list of 19 factors for government officials to use when deciding whether to use "prosecutorial discretion" in deportation cases. In essence, under that new set of rules criminals and "national security threats" were to be deported and virtually everyone else was to be allowed to stay. But now Barack Obama has taken things to a whole new level. Now, if you are under the age of 30, came to the United States under the age of 16 and have lived here for at least five years you will be able to apply for legal status and a work permit. With the election less than 6 months away it is obvious that Barack Obama is pandering for votes. But this kind of "banana republic politics" is only going to divide America even more deeply and is going to result in some very serious pain for this nation in the years ahead.

Today Mexico is very much like Columbia was twenty years ago.

And if we keep nominating liberals we will be like Mexico in much less than 20 years. Perhaps 7 to 10 years if that. And even less if we allow these new procedures to be the way we make laws in this nation.

This all leads to a New World Order. When I was in school, approx 1962, I had a Prof that said “Some time in the near future, we will see about 4 leaders of the world.” It seems it’s coming faster than he even predicted.

Step in the right direction of how he thinks. I do believe he denounces his ‘whiteness’ in his book, no? He married a Black Panther whitey-hater didn’t he? Where’s her thesis? What’s HIS background for that matter!

Our last four presidents were guilty of the same thing. Where does it stop?

Don’t you think that the open border is what made the narco state of Mexico errupt like a volcano?

I would hardly call Mexico to be "open borders" as we are. They quickly throw Guatemalans and other Centralamericans in jail if they overstay their welcome. Even the Venezuelans need a VISA to visit Mexico and unless you're a tourist or have proof of property in your home country you get no VISA as they do not want to risk you going to Mexico and overstaying that VISA.

It's not the same for them as it is for us. They know we will return home.

Consider that and you can see that this nation could become as dangerous as northern Mexico quite quickly.

There are so many overly-civilized people in our country who think that nasty things like that can’t happen here. The bozos don’t understand that if you allow bad people to get away with things and get more power, they will just get worse and worse. At some point the bad guys will get more power than the people and we will become like Mexico. We have bcome a nation of fools and the biggest fools are the leaders in government, academia, media and cheap labor -loving businesses.

Our last four presidents were guilty of the same thing.

I do not recall President Bush (with all of his faults and weakness on illegals) ever going to the UN about the State of Arizona. I do not recall Bush sueing the State of Arizona for deporting illegals and bulding a fence that he refused to build. I do not recall Bush by-passing Congress and with the stroke of a pen legalizing almost 1 million illegals. From what I remember, his Amnesty plan did not pass and that's exactly where it stopped.

Did I miss something?

Where does it stop?

It stops once we hold a pResident accountable for failing to uphold the US Constitution. Until we do that, it will continue. Even though nobody in the past can even come close to this man we have in the WH today, our government has indeed failed us. The leaders leave office and live their life of Reilly. Until they are held accountable and charged, there's no reason for the next one to do anything differently.

Well, America might not lose its constitution quite as quickly if Mitt opens these doors. Otherwise yes the dangers are the same.

Everybody is motivated by something...I think the reasons people want the borders "open" are a bit more varied. Most are just plain naive or stupid. Some have more insidious motivations, like the one you saw in Fast and Furious. They seek the rewards they perceive can be theirs if border violence increases.

Or as in the case of California, plant the marijuana crops in national forests and send the workers over periodically.

yes the dangers are the same.

That's really all you needed to say. The simple fact is that if there are 30 million illegals in America, its enough to create nearly 50 congressional districts (primarily democrat) and it won't matter which party does it because it will finish this nation if it isn't already too late.

Actually, both parties seem to be catering to the Mexican vote for obvious reasons. The shame of it all is that they do so at the expense of everybody that is an American citizen.

They care not! They are looking to the future of the party and how they can position themselves for re-election.

It’s about time that we look to another party that actually looks to the future of America rather than votes - another few years in office. We have so many of these elected officials in office now that it will be very hard to clear the sheet and start over.

It must be done if America is to survive. Maybe the first crack is to get rid of professional politicians in your state. It will not happen without major attitude changes. We have long be trained to vote for those that we know - regardless of their policies in office.

Can this year be the change needed?

If you must distort my statement to make a point that speaks for itself.

If the hoi POLL-oi are to be believed this de facto amnesty is getting lots of Hispanic voter support for Barack. I’d like to see an investigation into why. Are existing legal families thinking of relatives they’d like to have here in the USA? Is it a generic “any Hispanic” thing? Is La Raza playing Mafia and intimidating fellow Hispanics to the point they think they have to prove fealty in Gallup polls?

We need some savvy sociologists.

They are not going to leave. I have an alternate solution but I can’t mention it on Freerepublic, it would get me booted ASAP.

Open borders, at least in this direction, are a principle part of the utopian lunacy Obama subscribes to. We can be certain that he has been indoctrinated with the leftest view of America being the evil empire since before he could read. The socialist utopia of racial and social justice can’t come until America as we know it has been destroyed. Invite our enemies in, and call them friends.

What I’m not sure of is how many illegals might actually get to vote. To vote here in Alaska all I had to do was register when I got my drivers license. Can’t illegals get a license in some states? So what is to stop all of them from voting? I could be wrong, as I don’t really know how the different states process voters.

But when you have millions of people (and their families) who think you’re just awesome because you granted them blanket protection, I would think they’d be pretty motivated to try and keep you in power.
