I worked in Woodland Park, have family near there, and this is horrible news! My daughter lives in Castle Rock, and she just told me the smoke is unbelievable!

(BTW - you live near Flagstaff? Did you know there is now a fire in Cottonwood?)

Cottonwood?
We are supposed to be in Sedona in three days.
My daughter’s man friend and kids live in the area of the Air Force Academy, they just evacuated. He texted me, as they drove away it appears the house is burning, his sister had just evacuated to his house her house was gone.
In California we are used to this, however it does not in anyway take away what Colorado and now Arizona are going through.

I live near the Flagstaff fire, which is near Boulder. Not to be confused with any town named Flagstaff.

I haven't heard anything about a fire in Cottonwood. Can you offer up any statistics or other info for me?
