“I really hate all the publicity that politicians get when doing the right thing”....
It is so out of context for this to happen, it become something WORTH celebrating.
Unfortunately, Jindal does not meet the "natural born citizen" standard that many people hold, in that although he was born in the US, neither of his parents were US citizens at the time.
Wisconsin Walker on the national stage ping
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Yep, if Mitt and his boys couldn’t even support Walker when it mattered, there’s no way they take the risk to put him on the ticket.
And actually pretty reasonably so—that’d be waving a massive red cape in front of every union, public and private, globally.
Walker assumed a national role when he took office. He showed himself worthy as he and his team charged that hill at the point.
“overly ambitious”
Is there a middle-of-the-road stance he could take that would make him just ambitious enough, without being overly so?
It seems to me there’s no winning here. Pols are either not ambitious enough to do the job - and then they’re called milk-toast because they don’t have the fire - or it’s said they’re in it for their own gain.
It was really a dig at the Media today. I have no problem otherwise.
Just a dig at the Media and the politicians that seem to think that we ignorant folk are at the mercy of their purchased statements. If money can buy us with their baloney then we are lost anyway. In this case, Walker is stating factual information and is to be admired (until the Media states it their way).
