A Brazilian national charged in a horrific wreck that killed a beloved Stoughton grandmother Sunday is an illegal alien, according to immigration authorities — while the victim of the crash was a legal immigrant from Chile who had become a naturalized American citizen.

Where does one go to get the stats on the illegal alien problem? Specifically, murders and other violent crimes, the cost to taxpayers of freebies, the cost of tuberculosis mini-epidemic, etc?

Golly, and didn’t the SCOTUS just rule that a governing entity cannot act in enforcing federal law...the corollary to that is any “sanctuary city” is, in fact legislatively acting on federal law enforcement by hiding these illegal aliens.
One hopes that Ms. Braga’s family would file suit against the city of Boston for violating such.
I hope the Stoughton police knew better than to report this illegal alien to the INS.

I used to live in Stoughton. There were more Brazilian flags flying in my apt complex during the World Cup (soccer) than in Rio.
