Whos full of hot air?
Mayor Bloomberg wants to maintain his politically correct credentials on global warming but hates to get into a hot car when he leaves an air conditioned building.
The solution his aides came up with could easily have doubled as a stunt on David Lettermans show.
In full view of bemused tourists and other passers-by, workers yesterday performed what looked like a comedy routine: They hoisted a standard room air conditioner to a side window of one of the mayors SUVs parked in the City Hall lot to see if it would fit...

When temperatures hit the high 90s a week ago, Bloomberg visited the Bronx Works senior center and called on New Yorkers to turn off all non-essential appliances.
It only takes a couple of minutes to cool off a room, he said at the time...

Bloomberg got criticized recently for having his helicopter flown into and out of a helipad during hours it was closed under FAA orders. Now what trouble we we little people have gotten into if we had flown our helicopters at a closed helipad?
I'm planning on getting into the salt and sugar smuggling business in NYC. It might be nearly as profitable as selling other illegal white powders on the street.

I thought Hizhoner rode the subway to and from work. Does he have his private, armored train?

He rides one or two stops every morning. He then gets into his airconditioned SUV with tinted windows.
He’s a creep!

I thought Hizhoner rode the subway to and from work. That was Ed Koch, a much more honorable NYC mayor.

Say what? Is that an evaporation cooler? Never seen that before.
To: a fool in paradise
Just saw one of those coolers on Velocity Channel. Seems they’re worth a little bit these days.

It really is like a Larry the Cable Guy joke, isnt it? I tried to put AC in my truck
but I couldnt find a long enough extension cord!
To see a room air conditioner on a truck, usually you have to go to a Kentucky meth lab dailycaller.com/2012/06/27/mic

I beg to differ that it's unique.
Up here in New England we only have about 9 days over 90º per year.
So to save money under this administration we strip stuff out of the house when we go for a ride.
