Great Post.

Some key dates to note derived from the article:

******

Nov 2009 - Fast & Furious is launched

July 2010. Earliest known F&F briefing of Eric Holder.

Oct 2010 - The brother of the former state attorney general of Chihuahua, Mexico, is killed. The ATF learns that Fast and Furious weapons were found at the scene.

Dec 14, 2010 - U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry is killed in a firefight while on patrol. The ATF would determine that two of the guns involved in the shooting came from Fast and Furious.

Jan 2011 - Fast and Furious is "called off".

Feb 4, 2011 - The famous Feb 4th "we don't walk guns" letter from the DOJ is sent to Issa.

May 2011 - Holder testifies that he had known specifically about the F&F gunwalking tactics for only a few weeks.

Nov 8, 2011 - In congressional testimony, Holder admits for the first time that gunwalking was used in Fast and Furious. I think this is about the time of the retraction of the Feb 4th letter

Dec 2011 - Documents reveal that some ATF agents discussed using Fast and Furious to provide anecdotal cases to support controversial new gun rules.

******

There does seem to be an inconsistency in the article for the Feb 4, May and Nov 8, 2011 entries. Did Holder really testify in May 2011 that he knew of F&F gunwalking tactics? I wonder.
