I feel like a peasant in the Soviet Union.
Well, the Constitution gives us a reset button. I fear it may be time to reboot.

unbelievable.
WE’VE GOT TO GET THIS MF OUT OF OFFICE IN NOVEMBER!!!!!
I’m going back to bed.
I am just in shock. Can’t believe Roberts screwed us over like this twice now. I thought he was one of the good guys. Wow, did we peg him wrong.
Willard must be beside himself with glee...
RomneyCare just got a pass by the SCOTUS...
All that needs to be done now is repeat 4 simple words Glenn Beck has been saying the last few weeks.
I. Will. Not. Comply.
Like most SC rulings, the first reports are not entirely accurate. This commentator
http://www.scotusblog.com/2012/06/dont-call-it-a-mandate-its-a-tax/
seems to indicate that the law may still not work as desired if it is a tax rather than a mandate:
Since President Obama signed the new law, it has been understood by almost everyone that the expansion of health care coverage to tens of millions of Americans without it could work economically only if the health insurance companies were guaranteed a large pool of customers. The mandate to buy health insurance by 2014 was the method Congress chose to supply that pool. It is not immediately clear whether the Courts approach will produce as large a pool of new customers. The ACAs key provision now amounts to an invitation to buy insurance, rather than an order to do so, with a not-very-big tax penalty for going without.
The lack of movement in the stock market vs. the downward spike in oil, shows how far the Federal connected are involved in the totally breached market.
It has been stated on this thread that Chief Justice Roberts is another blemish on the record of President George Bush. I would like to address that point.
President Bush was not someone I could support a good portion of the time. I have railed on him here many times over the years.
When it comes to appointments to the court, they can look pretty good when they are made and voted upon. Years later, they stand a good chance of being viewed quite differently.
When President Reagan appointed Sandra Day O’Conner, it’s my understanding she didn’t look bad. Today we consider her to be quite a liberal SCOTUS Justice.
When Roberts was approved, we were all quite happy about it. He seemed like a good choice. Now we’re aware that at least with regard to this Obamacare ruling, he’s Dufus Maximus.
I don’t think we should blame President Bush for this anymore than we should blame ourselves, since we were in favor of Robert’s appointment.
This sucks, but Chief Justice Roberts should be the focus.
This is one instance where I’m not going to take Bush to task.
I thought Roberts was a good selection. I never saw him screwing a ruling this badly.
And yes, he really f’d up on this one. His ruling was an embarrassment to himself. It was an embarrassment to the court. It was an embarrassment to the nation.
Citizens have every right to be furious about this.
Face it folks. For America the Fat Lady has not only sung, she’s well into her 2nd encore.
He’ll never admit it publicly, but the second happiest man on the planet right now is YOUR GOP Presidential nominee, Mitt (”The Godfather of Obamacare”) Romney.
Romney: Repeal and Replace
Translation: Obamacare BAD! Romneycare GOOD!
Et tu Brute?
Romney speaking... vows to overturn Obamacare on his first day in office.

I am reading through the decision now. Here is a remarkable quote from the decision (page 6)
“Those decisions are entrusted to our Nations elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”
Full decision found here:

Rush is only referring generically to the "Court" as the perps.
This certainly has to do with Rush's mysterious reference to Roberts on his show the other day. And Rush isn't talking on that.
If Robert backed off on voting with the conservative Justices, so is Rush backing off in not referring to Justice Judas' culpability in the decision.
Rush is right on one thing he said today, though.....we can't depend on anyone anymore, just ourselves.

Weeeeellllppp...guess that settles it. Socialist dystopia, here we come; Alcohol, here I come.
If you need to Zen out to some Country Music, here’s Don Williams, “I believe in you”
I ran across this suggestion, which was filmed before the decision. I don’t think states not setting up health exchanges will work now that Roberts and company have given the Feds the green light to levy any taxes their little brains can conceive.
What do you guys think?

If I was older, I would forthwith update my will to remove any of my relatives who put Obama in office. If there were no relatives left after that process, I would find a deserving charity.
