Yeah, elections do have consequences. Did you vote for Bush? I did. Look what it got us. It’s like this, Bush, a REPUBLICAN, nominated Roberts.

I’m not real sure what this whole decision means in the long run since IANAL, but I’m not real confident. If there are openings in the decision that allow Congress to gut it or not. So, although I’m extremely disappointed in SCOTUS for not just stomping this into oblivion and throwing into the ashpile of history, I’m going through a gut check, I’m not giving up.

0bama and the rats played public opinion like a fiddle. Acting all pissed off and indignant, “threatening” the SCOTUS, etc., etc. Kabuki theatre. The joke was on us. The sadistic bastards knew all along what they were doing. Messing with our minds that we were going to “win” this one. And now look at us.

Those socialists in Washington D.C. and Crawford TX are laughing their asses off at us right now. Probably toasting our misery.

Romney, a REPUBLICAN (not a conservative) is a proponent of exactly this type of legislation, even secured its passage in MA.

0bama claims, and there is a lot of proof to support his claim, that this whole $hit sandwich was modeled after Romney’s version.

What, exactly do you propose as an alternative? Do you honestly think Romney, if he wins, is going to promote the repeal of this abomination to freedom?

Screw the presidency, those 2 pieces of garbage running for president are mirror images of each other from an ideological perspective.

The Congress is where the real power lies, take it back from those bastards and we can get real CONSERVATIVES working to get this thing repealed.

Yes, I voted for Bush so what? Yes I voted for McCain, so what?

This helps Romney set the rest of his agenda. He can start and end every answer to every question “I will repeal Obamacare”..
I followed the Mass Care discussion because I lived up there for a while and it was simple. They either passed something and override his veto or he gets involved and inserts some sanity, which he tried to do. Either way it was going to pass, so what? At least he tried. He didn’t whine and bitch and moan and cry, like a lot of my fellow freepers are.

What we have in front of us is a clear and distinct choice. You can be one of the deniers and sit on your thumbs and use pretzel logic to justify yourself of you can join the fight and vote for repeal. It’s up to you.

I see you forgot about Justice Alito? Thomas? Although I know Thomas was put in by another president before G. Bush, his Dad? Justice Alito (GWB) voted against Obamacare, as well as Justice Thomas, (GHWB). Pres. GWB had no way of knowing Roberts would do this, did he? He also put in Janice Rogers Brown, Priscilla Owens,(for other courts) didn’t he? I distinctly remember many people on this forum were so happy that those two as well as Roberts and Alito got in under GWB’s presidency! Now many of you are trashing on him because of Roberts recent turn! Really!

You have to remember that even one of Pres. Reagan’s justices went liberal on us! (Sandra Day O’Connor)Many of you never trashed him when Justice O’Connor went ‘left’ on us, did you? No, and neither should they! He didn’t know Justice O’Connor would go ‘left’ did he? Well why are you and others trashing both of the Presidents Bush for one of their justices going ‘left’?
