You are far too optimistic; have you been to any maternity wards lately? Blacks were told they’d be surpassed in numbers by Hispanics by 2010; instead it had occurred already at the time of the 2000 census. Many people living in areas that are officially 90% “white” don’t realize even the short-term implications of class sizes that are 50% “non-white”; the replacement Americans are here in force, and they intend to stay. Now the original Americans will get the bill for their healthcare, too.
I am aware of the demographic trends and have been since 1991, when the press reported the fact that if current levels of immigration were maintained, white babies would be a minority by 2020 and whites would be a minority by 2040 or 2050. That is why I mentioned 2040. I am hopeful that we will end up better off.
