“We are still a country of the brave, and I would gladly give my life for my country, but, I fear we are no longer free....we must fall to our knees and pray to the Lord of Lords, the One who created all that is, and the One whose very spirit was imbibed in our founding fathers.”
I submit to you the thought that we are a land of the FREE, and home of the BRAVE...if we really are ‘the brave’, and if we really are in the mold of the founders, who were imbibed by the very Spirit of God 236 years ago.
God gave them, the founders, the wisdom needed to create a Republic...REPUBLIC...yes, I am shouting that...and they used the means God gave them to see it through. Is he giving us that same wisdom? YES! if we are willing to accept and act on it. The Constitution that our Founders gave us still stands, and Chief? Justice John Roberts cannot change that Constitution. He is at this point a no-body, one to be replaced or made irrevelant in the days, weeks, months to come. We do not need a ‘smart ass, wishy washy Justice on the Supreme Court. It is time to get his attention with a bigger 2x4.
It is our responsibility to elect a Republican President, a Republican Senate, and a Republican House filled with as many conservatives as we can. It is our responsibility to follow through with those we elect to get from them what we need/want as conservatives. It is not about the Tea Party vs Them. It is about We The People vs Them.
At some point, it may be necessary for us to invoke the measures that the Founders gave us. These are all guaranteed to us in the Bill of Rights...and each of these is of utmost importance. It is why we are still free, why we still have the freedom to choose freedom.
It begins in November, and it is then our responsibility to follow through...just as our Founders did. Our Founders did follow through...and no matter what the result in November, it is our responsibility to ‘follow through’. Ask any Pro-golfer...it is all about follow through.
I would like to add this to my earlier post...
If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin. Samuel Adams, 1776
