Quit blaming Bush! You people sound just like liberals. “Waaa,,,everything is Bush’s fault,,,waaa!” News flash,,,the best Bush could do was appoint someone who he thought would ALWAYS vote conservative. The SC does things to appointees. Solidly conservative appointees may turn liberal. Solidly liberal appointees may turn more conservative. They have minds of their own. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE how they will be once they are on the court. So quit your liberal, crybaby “it’s all Bush’s fault” imitations and put the blame where it belongs,,,,ON ROBERTS!!!

Good points. Reagan appointed Sandra Day O’Connor. Roberts clearly had better conservative specs going in than O’Connor. I’d say the liberal Washington political climate got to Roberts like it has to many conservative pols and justices.

most lawyers are liberal...they're liberal because to sue people, which is their money pot, they need to have inventive judges coming up with different reasons why laws should be interpreted in certain ways...

therefore, any SC judge has a basic liberal lawyers foundation...

the constitution is only protected when it's good for the lawyer groups...
