“If Joe Biden can be VP, then who the hell can’t?”
You can’t be serious. Have you looked at the letter behind Biden’s name? It’s a capital D.
Anyone with a capital D gets a pass from the media - a complete pass. Even a doofus like Biden.
The selection of Ru Paul as the VP candidate will make the selection of Palin look like a small news story.
Then why don't we run our candidates with a capitol D behind their name?

The selection of Ru Paul as the VP candidate will make the selection of Palin look like a small news story.
And here I thought that "no publicity was bad publicity." ;)
But seriously, how in God's name is the GOP going to signal wanting to do things differently if it keeps selecting the same crap?
"You hate Obama, ok... we'll give you someone that's mostly like Obama." instead of "Ok, here's someone that's radically different than Obama."?
I heard someone in process-control say: "your process is perfectly designed to give you the results you are getting."
The GOP has shown a remarkable disdain for its base, and therefore I refuse to throw in with them if they are going to keep offering up the same old sorts.
They can no longer count on my vote, they have to earn it; and how they do that is by actually striving for their party planks.

It won’t be her(or any other woman). I think they’ve already said she’s not being vetted and she said she’s not interested. But the main reason is that Romney and his people want to get as far away as possible from any connection to Palin. they want their VP pick to be the anti-Palin pick.
If Romney picks Martinez, or any other woman for that matter, the media will just talk about Palin non-stop and compare the two of them non-stop...and Romney and his people don’t want that.
They want someone who won’t make waves, and will keep the focus on Romney and the economy. Portman, Pawlenty, McDonnell, Thune, someone like that.
If Christie can stop the fraud, he can put NJ in Romney’s column.
