Romney campaign reports $4.2M raised off healthcare ruling in 20hrs.

Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has raised $4.2 million since the Supreme Court ruled the healthcare reform legislation constitutional, his press secretary reported in a tweet on Friday morning.

Romney responded to the ruling by renewing his pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act known as "Obamacare."

He wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday: "Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over."

The Supreme Court's ruling was a clear win for President Obama, who counts the healthcare bill as a signature achievement of his first term. But Romney and other Republicans made clear they would not give up the fight to repeal what they call a government takeover of healthcare.

Romney's campaign had raised $2.5 million by 1:33 p.m. Thursday.

Romney effectively becomes the head of the Republican party It won't be a dictator.

Just temper your expectations, and don't count your chickens before they hatch. Too many people are suddenly investing trust and hope in Romney that he's never come close to earning.

We’re in PA too. You need to update your credit card since it has expired. No one else will accept it either. We had no problem.

Then you’ll be just as responsible as the democrats for what happens in a second Obama term. And you’ll get none of the credit if the rest of us manage to avert that catastrophe. You’re either a slave or a free-rider, take your pick.

It has happened and it can happen again

Alright. I'm game. Tell me when a dominant party in Congress has ever held their own president's 'feet to the fire.'

Stopping abortion will never happen by government action. It will only happen when women and men are raised to understand the consequences and given the moral compass to understand how evil abortion is.

Absolutely, positively, one hundred percent correct, Chief.

With a majority of Americans willing to accept abortion under the usual circumstances (rape, incest, birth defects etc) it will never be ended just by electing a president.

It has to be ended by changing hearts on the retail level, one by one. Once that's done then the laws will change.

Many of the hardcore pro-lifers on FR live in fantasyland about electing someone who will do away with abortions with the stroke of a pen. They hate and reject the reality that you have described.

“I’ve had long conversations with God on this. I’ve been interceding for this country for over 30 years. “

Then maybe the answer is in front of your face because for 30 years your “interceding” doesn’t seem to have worked. You ought to pay attention and do the right thing all on your own. Maybe YOU need to GET IT DONE and stop selfishly waiting around for others to do it for you.

“...In Texas, Dewberry has refused to sign the “Repeal ObamaScare” pledge...my money’s on Cruz!!...”

BTW, The obamacare supporter is Dewhurst. It’s good to put your money on Cruz.
I know I’ve posted on this board before that I would NEVER, Ever vote for mittens. However, after yesterday, I am going to have to eat those words. Not only will I vote for him, I contributed substantially to his campaign as well as Ted Cruz’s campaign as well.
I work in in the Eagle Ford oil & gas trend in south Texas but I’m from Louisiana so I cannot vote for Ted, but I sure as heck can support him with my funds.
Many of us in the oil field business make very good money doing what we do but it’s hot, nasty work, very long hours and a long way from home. It’s really not much of a life if one dwells on it so I try not to think about it. A bunch of us have been talking about this for awhile now. IF, God forbid, odongo gets re-elected and/or this monstrous atrocity is not repealed, many of us that have been in this business for a long time are going to just “toss in the towel” and quit working. Some of these guys are already paying $50-$100K/year just in federal taxes alone. How many taxpayers like that can this oppressive govt. afford to lose? When this govt has those kinds of taxpayers going from the “pay” to the “take” side, how long can it exist? I know we’re small potatoes in the grand scheme of things, but still if thousands of others that can afford to do this and do it, it’s gonna hurt. We’re hoping the state of Texas just “opts out” of the whole frickin’ mess.

Failure to vote IS A VOTE FOR OBOMA, THE ENEMY. We The People ask for your help in ridding this country of the hell that is socialism/communism/marxism. There is nothing admirable, noble or loving in the eyes of God about a man or woman, who would turn their backs on the cry for help of good people, people, who want to restore their country to the Constitution, liberty and freedom.

Ask the people who are enslaved under under socialism/communism/marxism in Korea, China, Cuba.....oh what they wouldn't give to have the FREEDOM to vote for liberty and freedom, to be able to rid themselves of the jackboot of socialism/communism/marxism on their necks. Imagine the fear and despair they feel daily. Imagine the fear and despair of those poor souls who lived under the oppression of Stalin in World War II, the fear of those people who lived under the domination of Hitler. What they would have given to be free, to have an opportunity to VOTE for their freedom.

Voting is but the first step in a series of many more toward returning this country to the Constitution, freedom and liberty, We do not have time to search for the perfect candidate. Romney IS NOT a socialist/marxist/communist. oboma IS A socialist/marxist/communist. oboma must be removed in November if you and I and this country are to have another chance at retaining what we have had. It will be our job as the boots on the ground to ride Romney's tail and make sure he follows through on the will of We The People. Romney wants to win, and we want to begin the first step to restoring this country. Romney knows We the People can make this win happen. God, sir, will look favorably on those who help themselves to do the right thing, to work with what they have, who will stand together in the fight the likes of which many brave men and women gave their lives for in wars past, so that we may be free.

Do the right thing...remember the cries and pleas for help from oppressed people in socialist/communist/marxist countries today, and the echo of cries and pleas from the silenced voices of oppressed people of years past. God helps those who help themselves. He does not look favorably on those who would turn their backs on those of us who now need the help of each and every person in this country, to WIN this war in November, to win back our Constitution, freedom, liberty.

My Mother used to have a saying, “cutting off your nose to spite your face”. I think that might apply. As far as I know there are no awards for being righteous.

Please site scripture and verse where that is in the bible. I like to keep informed.

Then go ahead and surrender, like the libs want you to do. You can’t get 100%, so you’ll take your balls and run home.
We’re in a war, and in war you take what’s victories you can’t get.

I don’t trust romney and want him primaried in 2016, but he is far better than and untouchable obama. remember what obama said to the russians. He’ll have more flexibility after the election. If you think obama is bad now, wait until he doesn’t have any reason to hold back.

Imagine how much worse off we’d be today had McCain and Sarah won?

We must thank our Lord that we did pour part to make sure they didn’t win!

Muslim Nations rise in the Middle East.

Obama Care.

Fast and Furious.

Sonia Sotomayor

Elana Kagan.

These are minor issues easily corrected!

When Reagan rises and we carry him back to the White House all will be well again.

All they have done is chose the lesser of three evils.

Only Christ would make a good leader to the purists.

All others are fallen.

Well, I live my life before God 24/7. I Think, based on His word, things might be a bit different than you choose to think.
