Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has raised $4.2 million since the Supreme Court ruled the healthcare reform legislation constitutional, his press secretary reported in a tweet on Friday morning.

Romney responded to the ruling by renewing his pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act known as "Obamacare."

He wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday: "Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over."

The Supreme Court's ruling was a clear win for President Obama, who counts the healthcare bill as a signature achievement of his first term. But Romney and other Republicans made clear they would not give up the fight to repeal what they call a government takeover of healthcare.

Romney's campaign had raised $2.5 million by 1:33 p.m. Thursday.

Wisdom... that’s the best you could do? My daughter in 4th grade was reported to be beyond her years in wisdom. Got another one I can field? I’m a little bored at the moment.

Jon Tester re-election now at extreme risk due to ObamaCare being a tax. What's he going to tell Montana voters? "I voted for the biggest tax increase in history?" What other senators now threatened by the ObamaCare tax increase?

BTW, only 51 Senate votes needed for repeal. Not 60.

At least a conservative Congress can hold a Rep president in check.

Wrong. The real world works exactly the reverse of that.

Upon election, Romney effectively becomes the head of the Republican party, and will get whatever he wants from his 'team' in Congress.

So has it ever been.

I dislike Mitt as much as anyone, but I just donated to him and will vote for him. I just thank God that your type is a minority or we would not have a country if Obama is re-elected.

It won't be a dictator. Obama has become the most dangerous man in history. We must defeat him at the ballot box.

The fact that you are bored is apparent to anyone reading your posts. Knowledge belongs to anyone who seeks it, wisdom is the application of all that knowledge you claim your family has. You talk about how knowledgeable your relative are and how much wisdom your 4th grader has, this makes you so wise because of what osmosis. 30 years fighting for this country, you are still a pup and you have given up. You post here because it is easier to fight with us than the real enemy. If you are afraid to get back on your horse than stay home and tend the fires, the rest of us will continue to fight for our secular and our religious life.

That explains it all.

Stop arguing with him. His insults and innuendo are becoming boring, he no more knows you or I and he just gets off on the insults. He obviously lacks the cognitive ability to form a decent argument and resorts to insults.

I’m sorry but I won’t send the RINO a dime. At the same time I’m glad others are. I’m conflicted.

I’ve got better things to do with money.

Like what, paying your Obamacare taxes?

I can only scratch my head and ask how I can believe him when he gave Massachusetts Romney Care. “So you were for it before you were against it...?” I’m a pilot. I know a windsock when I see one.

Great, then you know that the best way to keep a windsock pointing firmly in one direction is to have a strong wind blowing on it from precisely the same angle.

How do you expect to keep that sort of wind on Windsock Romney if you're not willing to contribute to the effort?

People in Masschusetts wanted this garbage. Romney gave them exactly what they demanded.

Romney's position: Let the individual states determine their healthcare laws as they see fit, NOT the federal government.

That's a good point. I'm still not entirely comfortable with the willingness with which Romney jumped in with the individual mandate, but I'm more comfortable with the idea that we can get more mileage out of him than we'll ever get out of a second Obama term.

They were all of them Christians, fighting for this country. We’ve been trying to hold down the home fort, despite what revisionist history might tell you.

Sunmars, you have tripped over one of those 'freepers for obama' who couches his tacit support for the greater of two evils in "God told me so".

There is no arrogance as odious as the arrogance of those who credit the Lord for their own actions.

Romney is rolling in cash.

These conservative candidates for the US Senate, however, are not, and they could really use some help. The REAL battleground of 2012 will be the Senate. We need to take it back.

A good first step would be to follow on Twitter & support them:

@tedcruz, @richardmourdock, @DebFischer2012, @sarah_steelman, @JoshMandelOhio. @TeamHoekstra, @Rehberg2012, @RickBergND, @Neumann4WI & @georgeallenva .

Also @SarahPAC .

Sam, you have run across one of those ‘freepers for obama’ who is willing to tacitly support and actively campaign for the greater of two evils...because God told him to.
