This article pretty much sums up the left's view on the future of Obamacare. Here is the key Excerpt:
"Scrapping the law, in other words, should be a pretty easy lift for Republicansif they win the election. But if they lose, as provisions of the law roll out during Obamas second term, theyre likely to find that its very difficult to take popular benefits away from people who already have them. By declining to do Republican politicians work for them, in other words, John Roberts just made 2012 a very consequential election."

Read Slate's summary (the Left Wing view) once again and let it sink in. We need to unite behind one goal - voting out every Democrat in November.

If, after this, Obama is still re-elected and the dems still hold the Senate, the message will be made loud and clear that Americans submissively embrace slavery.
Slavery or liberty. There is no middle ground... not this time.
A “crawler” on FOX NEWS yesterday stated 52 of the 94 tenets of the Health Care Act had already been implemented. But as you say, a benefit, once granted is very difficult to rescind.
We need to stop this monster in November or we are screwed royally, for ever more. The line is wavering, but has not bent. Yet...
Yep. Whether we like it or not a Mormon dude who is an exgovern-
or of one of our most liberal states is our hope. Who
would have thunk. God save us.

I agree. For the next four months we must have exactly that one goal, and "every democrat" includes Obama.
I say we elect the Mormon dude and then deal with him as best we can.
This Kenyan fellow has proven to be a real problem.
We have exactly one more chance to kill Obamacare.
If Romney doesn't get elected President, then Obamacare will be the law of the land.
I’m in.
Some of the devout Romney haters here scare me as much as
RINOs. At least Mitt is a capitalist.
It is tragic what has befallen this site in the last few months.
FR made a huge contribution to the Clinton impeachment, to the election and re-election of Pres. George W. Bush, to numerous Congressional campaigns, to the ultimately failed 2008 campaign, and then to the tea party movement leading up to the 2010 election.
Now should be a time for FR to shine, but it is just not so.
The apparent nomination of a Mormon centrist flip-flopper was a quandary to be sure. But with wisdom and reasonableness and realism (all conservative qualities, mind you) the situation could have been dealt with amicably and forthrightly.
Instead what we have is Yugoslavia.
The leftists laugh at us, and well they should. We are doing their work for them.
Yes, we do have “a Mormon centrist flipflopper”. What we don’t
have is “two sides of the same coin” which is the description some
of our friends have used to compare Romney to Obama. Not
good and I hope these friends are venting and will come
around more sooner than later. If Romney wins he will need
some friends because he will be more hated than a Hispanic
named Zimmerman. He won’t be around for a second gig
if the conservatives sit it out and he knows it. We know what
happens if BO wins a second term.
Cheers
