Gay activists take swing at Chuck Norris for Boy Scouts diatribe
Los Angeles Times ^ | June 27, 2012 | Rene Lynch

Gay rights activists say actor Chuck Norris is a "fame-hungry has-been" with a double standard: Norris is accusing President Obama of trying to promote a gay agenda within the Boy Scouts of America, yet has not criticized Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for saying gays would be welcomed within the scouting organization.

Norris wrote an opinion piece this week blasting President Obama and portraying him as a puppet master working behind the scenes to create a "pro-gay Boy Scouts of America" and promote an increasingly pro-gay agenda.

In response, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation issued a statement calling Norris out: "Chuck Norris should talk to Mitt Romney, who Norris endorsed for president and who has said on the record that all Americans should be able to participate in the Boy Scouts of America regardless of sexual orientation.... Chuck Norris appears to be a fame-hungry has-been with poor research skills."

The statement also included a link to a YouTube video of Romney speaking out during a 1994 political debate in which Romney says: "I feel that all people should be allowed to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation."

Follows this article: Chuck Norris blasts Obama over 'pro-gay Boy Scouts' stance, where some FReepers correctly commented that Romney's coddling of homosexuals on this issue and others takes it off the table this November (among other things).

The very same people who are at the forefront of condemning the Catholic Church for pedophilia (they interestingly ALWAYS leave off the homosexual part of it though) are the same people who are trying to put homosexuals into contact with young, male teens.

It seems to me that over the years there have been a number scandals involving homosexuality in the Boy Scouts, and BSA has worked to ensure it never happens again. But the homosexual lobby is demanding to put the BSA into a situation where this sort of thing will be even more likely.

To put it bluntly, it's just WRONG. Every bit as wrong as setting up a 17 year old boy as a leader of a bunch of girl scouts!

While I'm not a super fan of Romney, there is a big difference between opening participation by gays and promoting pro-gay lifestyle.

Current EEO laws bar the discrimination against the p-puffers, but it doesn't allow for them to promote and advocate their sick lifestyles to straight people and/or organizations.

Here in an era where the General of the U.S. Air Force has banned all promotion, and even the celebration of religion, here's obama championing it for the BOY Scouts.

The pervert-in-chief has an altogether different motivation than others, he's desparately seeking that 2% of the American public for their VOTE. Obama would do just about anything for a vote.

Now, which one of you among the "gay activists" would really like to "take a swing" at Chuck Norris?

That's actually a pay-per-view that I would open the wallet for.

Why don’t they start their own boys charity like Jerry Sandusky and leave the Boy Scouts alone?

Won’t work. They’ll always be in arrears.

We are being hypocritical if we only criticize the left for evil policies they take, and not stand up to the wrong in our own party. In fact, to give romney the prize of the presidency, while he is guilty of the same things Obama does, is hypocritical. I blame romney, the gop and media on the right for not allowing the truth to come out before the primaries, about who romney is. Many voted for him out of ignorance or trusted the party to tell us who he is. Because of them, the country is moving extremely left (especially socially) and the mormons will think the prophecies about him are true which will only reinforce there belief in a false religion. Those who misled people about romney WILL be held accountable by God.

That not only doesn't matter to some, it appears to be what they want.

I’m pretty sure Chuck Norris has never endorsed or supported Romney, so why on earth should he defend the Mitter’s policies?

Norris is not campaigning for Romney, but he is engaging in criticism of a sitting U.S. president. For the time being, that is still allowed.

What the perverted homosexuals cannot understand. The majority of the worlds population. Does not accept, nor want homosexuals around them. Politicians will pander to them just for votes.
