Any decrease in turnout in a state like N. Car. or Va. makes defeating Obama in the Electoral College that more difficult.
______________________________________________________________

Trust me; you will not have to worry about a low-turnout on our side. I’ve never seen people so angry and so fired up about defeating Obama. There will be a low turn-out for the Dems though; guaranteed. There will be 2 million less Blacks voting this time than in ‘08. (Remember; you heard that first from me.) Also, many who supported him last time are so disappointed and disillusioned, that this time they might not vote for Romney but, they’ll stay home.

The main argument/worry about Romeny is he is more like Obama then Reagan.
Don’t see how that helps Borak Oblamea?
______________________________________________________________

You are exactly right. Let them hear that from the disgruntled Conservatives, all they want. That can only HELP Romney; not hurt him. Also, Leep, see my Post #61 to xkaydet65 that I posted re: his reply to you. It goes along with this.

Speaking of the Electoral College:

Don’t forget folks; since Obama was elected in ‘08, the Blue (Dem) States lost 11 Electoral Votes to the Red (Pubbie) States after the 2010 Census. Now, that’s a net gain of 22 EVs for the GOP. If we both have 20 apples and I take 11 from your pile and put them in my pile, I now have 31 and you have 9..... a net gain for me of 22. In a close Election, 22 EVs is a whole heck of a lot.

I say this year we take these States back from the Blue Column (2008) and they will be in the Red Column in 2012:
VA, NC, FL, IN, and IA. And........We might also take back OH, WI and MI.

Now, we’re talking, not a landslide, but a big friggin’ win for our team. And a lot of Senate and House Seats will come along on the coattails.

-——you have to go right at this guy (Obamuzzie)-—that’s absolutely right and it reminds me of a phrase I haven’t heard in years. The guy’s got a “glass jaw”-—he’s a sniveler who can’t take a punch and it hurts his feelings when anyone throws one. But Romney didn’t come this far to make it easy on Odumpster so it is going to be fun to watch.

I keep repeating to everyone. Even if you can not vote for Romney do not stay home. There are other lower seats to fill.

No, not really-—that’s poor “mission planning” and just trying to one-up a dumbass will probably get you hurt. When a dunderhead threatens you in whatever manner you bring overwhelming firepower, everything you’ve got, to keep the fight short. Anything less will probably produce your own defeat. That’s how I live my life and I can tell you it helps insure longevity and peace of mind and keeps the riffraff backed really far off.

Romney is in a “timed round “ so he has to stand and slug it out until Nov——but he trained for about a decade coming in so I’m gonna assume he’s in shape to go the distance.

I am certain that they have to have permission for that. It would be like if I were to use a spot that you put out for the general consumption by the public, and I used it to gain a particular advantage either financially or other.

Using it is fair game. The Hildebeest is a politician and a public figure.

If she gave that nice little performance as an actress portraying a presidential candidate, she might have grounds to object. But she gave it as real presidential candidate.

You misunderstood my comments. I was talking about disappointed, disgruntled, disillusioned Black and White voters who supported Obama in 2008 but are not excited about voting for him this time. They will not vote for Romney but, they will stay home. You don’t want them voting in the “down ballot” races because they’d all vote Democrat.

I agree. Excellent ad. Romney is a pit-bull and will tear up Obama, especially in the debates.

On the flip side (no pun intended), the Democraps will dredge up everything that was said against Romney by the primary contestants and there is lots of fodder there.

Bomney is an empty suit. I will never vote for him. The establishment tried to cram him down our throat. He will lose just like McAmnesty. He is far behind as we speak. There is no there there and he is the father of the insurance mandate. What a horrible candidate.

Turn about will be fair play....watch for the RATS to bring out anti-Romney comments from all the republican contenders during the primary.

Lordy, no! Don’t outsource! Hire illegals, so they can come to the US and get foodstamps and eventual amnesty. That way they can vote as dead people surrogates while they’re illegal, and later vote outright (Democratic, of course). Did I get sidetracked? Sorry. Even as an expatriate, that still pisses me off.

Yes, I did. I got it in my head 2008 supporters of Romney for some reason.

It is a great ad. Remember, there is a split between Clinton Dims and Obama Dims. (Sort of like the split between Stalin and Trotsky.)

I think there are plenty of Dims who have had enough. A great example is my mom. She’s a hardcore New Yawk collectivist Dim who campaigned for Jew hater Jimmuh Carter (despite the fact that we’re Jewish, but good luck explaining that to her), she had a crush on Bill Caligula, and thinks Hitlery is the smartest woman on Earth.......

and yet.....and yet....

She’s voting for Romney. I don’t know if this is a stinging indictment of Romney, but who cares ? It’s progress of sorts.

Wait ‘til they run the ad on Romney and Kennedy yukking it up together at the MA capitol signing Romneycare, the template exactly for Obamacare.

And a nice close up shot of Romney’s staffer consulting with Obama, for Obama, to construct this albatross to fit our necks.

Where is the contrast between these candidates. Romney will outsource the entire debacle he himself incubated in MA across Pennsylvania Avenue to a weakling Republican congress chocked full of his socialist pals, while he triangulates in the Oval Office, working to shape himself for a second term, at the lowest possible risk.

Like you, I wish our situation was different! I understand your disappointment and disgust!

But Rita, if we get 4 more years of Obama it will be your fault. I know its not fair. But life isn't fair, and your options now are Obama or not Obama.

I don't know what it is like to find myself on a hijacked 9/11 flight. I don't know what its like to say, "Lets roll!" and give my life to save others. I don't know what soldiers feel when they willingly stand in defense of our great country. But I do know the least I can do is deal with my Romney-scorn and pull the lever for not Obama.

You make a very fine point. However it seems to me Romney has a record identical to Obama now, and even a worse pre-presidency one.

Romney has committed to nothing on the religious liberty issue, abortion services, immigration and border control, global warming foreign adventure, or health care reform.

And, he is missing in action.

Where the heck is he? Landmark judicial decisions exploding all around us and the guy is crickets, off somewhere picking lint off his empty suit.

I totally hear you Rita! And I have no desire to make excuses for Romney. To me he is simply not Obama, and in this particular situation that is going to be enough for me.

Barack is cancer and must be cut away. It will most likely be an unpleasant bloody business! But after, perhaps we can begin to heal.
