US Treasury Department Links Major Drug Trafficker to Key Hezbollah Supporter in South America
U.S. Treasury Press Release ^ | June 27 2012 | U.S. Treasury Press

Posted on 06/29/2012 5:25:01 PM PDT by LSUfan

The U.S. Department of the Treasury today designated four individuals and three entities involved in laundering the proceeds of narcotics trafficking for drug kingpin Ayman Joumaa. Treasury also designated a Colombia-based individual under its terrorism authority, Executive Order (E.O.) 13224, for directing Hezbollah’s fundraising activities in the Americas. This individual was previously designated under the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act (Kingpin Act) for his role in narcotics-related money laundering. Today’s designations further expose Ayman Joumaa’s network as a major narcotics and money laundering enterprise that has reach throughout the Americas and the Middle East with links to Hezbollah. As with the February 2011 action against Lebanese Canadian Bank, these actions again highlight Hezbollah’s links to major South American narcotics money laundering organizations.

You have no idea how crime leaders vote around the world, or whether they support the left or right in America (although I guess the left), but we do know that you are supporting a goal of the American left.

You might want to look at Latin America, even Mexico’s violence before the 1950s it is traditional.

1964 Columbia?
Columbia between 1948 and 1958 dabbled in good old fashioned Latin violence. “Scholars, however, estimate that between 200,000 and 300,000 lives were lost, 600,000 and 800,000 injured, and almost one million displaced. La Violencia affected 20% of the population, directly or indirectly.”

If drugs were decriminalized, they would go on to something else that is forbidden such as human trafficking or child porn which they probably already do. What about counterfeiting—if we let everyone print their own money, we wouldn't have to lock up counterfeiters.

They go after things that are forbidden but what are we going to do, make everything legal so that criminals can't exploit the forbidden?

You ignored that post, Mexico and Columbia were important to you and I posted information on them.

America resisting drugs did not ruin those countries.

Sure introduced a new element of lawlessness and murder and violence and corruption that they did not need and in Mexico’s case spilling over our borders

WE have enough problems with illegals without the gang type druggies joining them

Crime gangs existed before American law, and they will exist even if the left wins every victory.

Columbia and Mexico have always been violent, supporting the left’s agenda won’t end that.

Yeah right drug gangsters have always been coming across our borders
And the USA had to send military aid to Colombia for the WOD

And all you keep repeating is supporting the left

Did you go to that link

Tells it like it is

Someday you will wake up

I use to be like you till I really put some thought into the situation

Most Ironic thing is after the Police SWAT or DEA has one of their wonderful police state raids afterwards they head for the nearest bar and get bombed to celebrate
