The constitutional win for President Barack Obama and Democrats on health care overhaul is reopening political cuts within the party over the unpopular law.

Four months to an election with control of Congress in the balance, the Supreme Court's affirmation of the law left several Democrats insisting that the issue was settled and it's time to focus on jump-starting a sluggish economy.

Other Democrats saw the newfound attention as a chance to reset the debate and make a fresh case for the law's more popular elements, especially as 12.8 million Americans start getting health insurance rebate checks in the coming months.

.... The court has "done a favor" for Republicans, freshman Rep. Allen West of Florida, who owes his seat in part to that anger, said in an interview. "Why would the Obama administration and Democrats want the pre-eminent issue of 2010 to be the pre-eminent issue of 2012?"

.... Critical to both parties, just 21 percent of independents support it, the lowest level of support the AP-GfK poll has recorded on the issue.

Just imagine how low the numbers will go when the street figures it out? I went with a customer to a shop that was doing a Duramax diesel transplant into his 99 Tahoe and the owner of the shop had no idea of the details. So for about 30 minutes, he listened while we gave him the run down and how it would affect his ability to afford his 6 employees.

I will make it a point to do that everywhere the opportunity presents itself and will be armed with much more detailed information.

BTW, he just had new emblems made for the Tahoe. t will now be a Durahoe! I wonder if Imus would find any humor in that one?

“chance to reset the debate and make a fresh case for the law’s more popular elements...

especially as 12.8 million Americans start getting health insurance rebate checks in the coming months”

I honestly don’t know, what exactly what are the more popular elements? As for the “rebate” - I’m just assuming this must be akin to those who get a refund for paying no taxes.

The Electoral College will decide who is President. The Big Cities will vote Obama the Rural Areas will vote Romney.
The Suburbs are the key to the election.

It’s as we thought, obamaTAX is just another vote-buying scheme.

I believe the SC wimps just dumped the matter back into Congresses lap.

Now we will see who among our representatives has has any balls.

“I saw my first Pete Hoekstra ad hammering Debbie Stupidcow on Obamatax this morning.”

The dems are nervous over this ruling and are going in circles trying to formulate talking points that will work for them.

If the Republicans can take Cuyoga County / Dade Countty the election is over. We are going to be back to 2000/2004. Obamacare reset the electoral map.

The MSMDNC isn’t willing to publicly acknowledge it yet. All the Rat cheating will once again be irrelevnt since everywhere there is cheating, Obama will already win that state.

What could change is New Jersey and Wisconsin. Walker’s win is going to cost the Democrats a lot of money to hold the state. Christie is also doing well.

The Senate needs to change. This Reid makes our skin crawl. Most people have had enough of this government, MSM and Hollywood radical influence on the integrity of this country.

Bart Simpson: Didn't you wonder why you were getting checks for doing absolutely nothing?

Grampa: I figured 'cause the Democrats were in power again.

What could change is New Jersey and Wisconsin.

If Romney carries New Jersey the landslide is on,and a 60 seat republican majority is a possibility.

Insurers who paid out less than 80% of their premiums have to pay policy holders back.
