Who is slobbering over Romney?

If there was even a snowballs chance in Hell that Romney would be replaced at the Convention with a Conservative Candidate, there would be a groundswell of support for it among the mystical fabled “Romneybots” here at FR.

Alas, reality is a bitch. You go with the cards you are dealt and we Conservatives were dealt a bad hand. You don't get a new deal because you're unhappy with the Dealer for what he gave you. You play or fold.

As it stands now, FR looks to be about 50/50, play or fold.

The Republican Primary Voters were essentially the Dealer. You obviously didn't do enough during the Primaries to convince enough people that your person of choice was the right person for them to support. You failed, I failed and a whole lot of other Conservatives obviously failed as well.

We are left with either trying to win the Pot or giving away what we already invested into it. You choose to walk away, others here understand the stakes of another Obama Term.

There was no joy or spiking the ball among us FReepers because the Republican Voters chose Romney, but even his Competitors, the same Conservatives we all Voted for, have gone on to support his Candidacy against the Worst President of our lifetimes.

>”IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO KICK ROMNEY TO THE CURB. WE HAVE NOT HAD THE CONVENTION YET. DO IT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”<

That sounds like a great idea, but if it doesn't come to fruition, then what? Like an Old Navy Chief told me years ago, “wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which hand fills up first”. I'll hold out for your proclamation, but I'm not holding my breath.

Then I will vote for Romney, but until November, I am complaining that as a collective WE suck. I am one of those old Chiefs....I guess “my brother” is smarter than I am....lol.

Good post #68 - minus the “fault” part. I don’t think Conservatives are to blame for having a wealth of candidates to muddy the waters (some more conservative than others and none necessarily compelling on all counts). The game was rigged from the start. My state went for Santorum.

Now Palin (whom I do respect a great deal) is saying exactly what will happen should the Zero get in for another 4 and it’s called “fear mongering”. Denial is not just a ....well, you know the rest.

You and Innovative and Rogue Yam and a handful of others are down on your knees worshiping your leftist POS posing as a "Republican" and slobbering all over him and his pals who funded his despicable campaign. Most here prefer to continue to have a GOP as at least a potential opposition party (which WILL NOT HAPPEN if your leftist POS posing as a "Republican" should, God forbid, be elected).

Myth Romney is whom you want. Myth Romney is whom you support. You ARE what you support.

KC: you really should change that screenname to KickassED "conservative," thereby making an honest fellow of yourself.
