LARGO, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) -- A U.S. teenager, who was critically injured earlier this week while playing a game of Russian Roulette with friends, has died at a hospital in central Florida, police said on Sunday.

The incident happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. local time on Friday when 17-year-old Thorin R. Montgomery was playing a game of Russian Roulette with his friends at his home in Largo, a city about 19 miles (30 kilometers) west of Tampa. First responders found him suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Detectives said Montgomery was playing the game with three of his friends, ages 19, 18 and 16, in the back porch of the house. "Montgomery was the first of his friends to have a turn at the game when the gun discharged and he received a gunshot wound to the head," the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

As teenagers we played "Spin the Bottle", a "kissing" game.

Nowadays, the little amoral, bored darlings play "Spin the Cylinder" and the prize is the Kiss of Death.

After having seen his picture I'd say that apart from the $500K hospital bill he probably did this country a favor.Watch for his parents (parent?) to sue the maker of the firearm, the maker of the ammunition, the city/town whose ambulance "didn't make maximum effort to arrive quickly" and the parents of all the other kids present.

Yes,boys and girls,I'm that jaded!

I don’t buy it. A group of friends gets together and decides to play russian roulette—a game that could only end with one of the friends shooting himself in the head? Hopefully the “friends” will decide to tell the authorities what really happened.

That ridiculous picture of the kid makes the whole thing seem even more bogus.

Just watched the TV report and now know that just as SUVs often drive themselves off bridges the firearm involved here fired itself. The kid was just an innocent bystander.

Uhhh - many of the ‘Lil Darlins’ got the Kiss of Death from another ‘Lil Darlin’ when they practiced what they learned in the Pooblik Skool Collective’s Sex Ed classes.

The Spin the Cylinder was arguably an inevitable consequence of their eating the Poison Fruit of the Tree of Liberalism. In any case, it is less arguable that the tax payers were saved a lot of money by the death of the Libtard under discussion.

1. Always assume it is loaded
2. Never point it at something you do not wish to destroy (that includes your head)

3. If you ever play Russian roulette with a semi-automatic weapon please have your friends go first.

Having played Russian roulette many times I tell you that you're jumping to conclusions. After each time the weapon is fired you spin the cylinder so,with luck, the trigger can be pulled many times without a round in the chamber. As for who really fired the weapon...there are tests that can be done to detect if a particular person has recently fires a gun.

(And BTW...just kidding about having played Russian roulette.I'm just *assuming* that that's what you do.)

“If it was Wolf, it would have jammed.”

My limited experience (just a few thousand rounds) with Wolf ammo was that it was reliable - cheap, not the most accurate, but reliable.

I don’t worry about ammo firing, I worry about an American government which has arrogated unto istelf the behavioral patterns of royalty. Note that in the article, a murder charge was brought against a survivor of a game of Russian Roulette.

Since when did we vote to allow criminal prosecution when a citizen decides to kill himself?

The Kings owned the subjects, and thus a subject who killed himself destroyed royal property.

An American citizen was once considered a sovereign citizen, not a subject. Therefore, beware of laws which remove the individual citizen’s right to make his own decisions about his own property.

Our body is our ultimate property. Allow government to exercise absolute control if our body and we are subjects once again.

Down with Obama and the Royalists (c0mmies) in goverfnment.

Vote ‘em down to defeat this year!

That’s what I was thinking, in regard to TRP’s question about whether they were using a semi-auto....

They may have been counting on the Russian Wolf to up their odds.

Except that if it wasn’t self-inflicted, the cops would already know and wouldn’t have reported it as Russian Roulette. That said, I’ll bet there was a ton of drugs in his system.

We used to play Russian Roulette when I was younger, but instead of pointing it at our heads, we pointed it at a target and whoevers shot went off had to buy the next six-pack.

All country boys ain’t completely stupid.
