GOP House leaders said Sunday they will forge ahead with efforts to repeal President Obama’s health care law, drawing criticism from Democratic lawmakers who said Americans want them to instead go forward with efforts to improve the economy.

“We’re going to do it one more time,” House Speaker John Boehner said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

The GOP-led House has attempted to repeal the Affordable Care Act numerous times and is scheduled to take up the issue again July 11, less than two weeks after the Supreme Court ruled the law was constitutional.

They could already make the claim they’ve tried to repeal. This may be going to the well one time too many before the election.

If you can’t get it done, then the public may turn away from further efforts, saying, “it’s time to move on.”

I used to bow to the professional pols about things like this, but the Republicans seem to be tone deaf and bad at public relations these days.

Damn! I can't believe it took 23 posts on this thread before your statement of what should be self-evident.

The biggest impediment to economic growth and new hiring are the uncertainties caused by ObamaCare and its cornucopia of regulatory land mines, tax hikes and unfunded mandates.

Repealing it will get rid of those uncertainties.

Term limits is stupid. If a great statesman gets in office, a rotten one is being groomed and positioned to usurp him through manipulation of media and news. Only a guarded awareness of the moral and ethical traits of who you vote for is gonna change anything. You only force out the good one and make his place available to the rotten one just waiting in the wings. Term limits is a stupid response.

Term limits is stupid.

After a statement like that, you've already lost all credibility to determine what is and isn't stupid.
