Most folks aren’t political junkies like us. They don’t read and furthermore they just don’t understand til it’s too late.

I agree with you for the most part, but, people are more “in the know” on this than you might think. This Obama/RobertsCare thing has got people more angry than I’ve ever seen them. If you think people were pissed in 2010 during the Midterm Elections; just you wait until Nov. 6, 2012.

Keep your eye on the percentage of Undecideds. Historically, 80% of the Undecideds go for the challenger on Election Day. So, if by Nov. 1, it’s Obama 47%, Romney 47% and 6% Undecided, Romney will win with 51.5% to Obama’s 48.5%. That said........

The Electoral College is more important than the popular vote. To guarantee the Electoral Vote, the GOP MUST take back (from Obama) these States he took in 2008: Indiana, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Iowa. This is not only “doable” but I think it will happen. I also think it’s very likely that Romney will take Ohio. And, he just might take Wisconsin and Michigan.

Republicans have a lot of educating to do between now and the election.

Yes, they do, BUT.... next to winning the Presidency, The GOP must concentrate on taking back the Senate. All we have to do is take 9 Senate Seats away from the Dems (And right now our chances look very good.) and have a GOP Vice President and Obama/RobertsCare is REPEALED!!!

Lot of the moochers will be kicking back November 6th same as they do any other day. Obama thinks they will be grateful for the largesse. But they are ungrateful to the taxpayers (aka suckers) and will be ungrateful to Obama. So will skip voting, they got better things to do. Like buying drugs or a new LED TV

Since the senate is now 51-47 dems, what do you mean 9 seats? Seems like it would be 13 + VP for fillibuster-proof or 3+ VP if the reconciliation route can be used.

Seems the +13 would require the VP now would it?

I thought the other day he said there was a bounce? Actually, that surprised me. I’m surprised there wasn’t actually a dip.

I think Obama IS disturbed. That is why he wants us to ‘move on.” He is also insistent that this is NOT a tax. He wants it both ways . . . he wants to stick it to the taxpayer but he doesn’t want us to hold him responsible for the ways in which he does it.

OK, first of all I was not considering the need for a filibuster-proof Senate since Obama/RobertsCare is now a tax. All we need are 51 votes. Secondly we're both wrong. I did a Google search and apparently got a site with "old" numbers b/c it said: 57 Dem, 41 GOP and 2 Indys. I didn't think that sounded right, but, it was late and I was tired. You, correctly, said 51-47 Dems. However, the two Indys caucus with the Dems so it's actually a 53-47 disadvantage for our team. But, you are correct in the fact that we only need to take away 3 Seats from the Dems. That would give us a 50/50, and with a GOP Vice President..... Can you say "Repeal"?

Sorry for the mix-up. Thanks for straightening me out. I really think that we are going to take the Senate and hold onto the House. Now, all we need is the White House and that won't be easy, regardless of what anybody says. As Pat Caddell said on Hannity Thursday night: "You don't know what you're up against." But, people are mad as hell and I'm optimistic.
