Your point is extremely well taken, although being in the NYC area and being connected to its universities, it does seem from my perspective that the nation is teeming with liberals. I do believe they were behind the LGBTQ organized agenda beginning in the ‘80s which has been as we can see nearly wholly successful. I do believe popular support for the movement had to play a large part in its advancement, and they themselves point this out constantly. I understand about a silent (or not so silent) majority but I would hope that it could have stopped what amounts to almost irrevocable damage in some venues such as academia, public schools, retail, etc.

Thanks for the original post....
And your feedback...

Your points are also well taken...
Especially from your outpost -- deep in the heart of the media/radical academic stronghold...

But the"quiet" numbers about NYC and NY state also tell a story...
Many families and companies have just packed & moved for a myriad of reasons; mostly transferring to less-(tax) oppressive jurisdictions...

And let's not forget the food police -- nanny-humor only...

HOPEFULLY....
We can awaken and motivate the disaffected complacent body politic...
(....particularly the FAITHFUL Body of Christ... FYI -- a personal goal)

U take care up there behind enemy lines...
God bless...
