If I had to put money on it, I’d be betting the same way as you. The tragedy in 2012 is all that conservatives have to cling to is a faint hope that Romney will deny his liberal entire past and actually govern as a conservative. Not much to look forward to, but the GOP machine completely outsmarted the Tea Party in the primaries. You’re left with a choice between a 100% liberal hack and a 65% liberal hack. Sad.
