National Right to Life: Supreme Court Decision Means Americans Must Elect Mitt Romney & A...
National Right to Life Committee ^ | June 25 2012 | National Right to Life Committee

“All voters who care about the value and dignity of human life must do everything they can to elect Mitt Romney and a Congress who are committed to repeal of ObamaCare,” said National Right to Life President Carol Tobias. “If President Obama wins re-election, it will mean massive abortion subsidies and it will put the lives of millions at risk through systematic government-imposed rationing of lifesaving medical care.”

Today’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling upholding most of the ObamaCare law is a call-to-action for the right-to-life electorate to work to elect a Congress and president this November committed to repealing ObamaCare in 2013, in order to prevent a future in which abortion insurance will be heavily subsidized by federal taxpayers and federal bureaucrats will be authorized to ration life-saving medical treatment.

That is the assessment of the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), the federation of state right-to-life organizations, after analysis of today’s ruling in National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius.

Under the enacted law, federal tax-based subsidies will begin in 2014 to subsidize millions of private insurance plans that will cover abortion-on-demand, including some plans (“multi-state plans”) that will be administered by the federal government. Under another provision of the law, the federal government could even order many plans that do not receive federal subsidies to cover abortion as a “preventive” service. The law also created an array of other mechanisms and funding pipelines by which access to and subsidies for abortion can be expanded if President Obama wins a second term.

Moreover, few Americans realize that under ObamaCare, private citizens’ right to spend their own money to save the lives of their own families will be subject to drastic restriction.

Unless repealed, ObamaCare will give federal bureaucrats the power to impose so-called “quality” measures on all health care providers, under which treatment that a doctor and patient deem needed to save that patient’s life or preserve the patient’s health but which runs afoul of the imposed standards will be denied, even if the patient is willing and able to pay for it. In 2015 and thereafter, an 18-member “Independent Payment Advisory Board” is directed to inform the federal Department of Health and Human Services how to use those imposed standards to limit what private citizens are permitted to spend on their own families’ health care to below the rate of medical inflation.

These and other provisions of the law that will authorize rationing are documented at http://www.nrlc.org/HealthCareRationing/index.html.

National Right to Life strongly opposed enactment of the ObamaCare law because of its abortion and rationing components.

I don’t want generic hot dogs, I want Grade A Prime Angus T-Bone Steak. But if it comes down to cheap hot dogs or a turd sandwich, guess what?

As Mitt Romneycare has been the host of many a planned parenthood fundraiser, and elevated some of their counsel to Judgeships I will be voting for Virgil Goode.

Yes, only Nero or Caligula are likely to win, but when I stand before God I will be able to say that I voted for Constantine. I am not responsible for who wins, only that I do not knowingly support evil.

Voting for Sarah won’t work:

TRANSCRIPT of part of the Video Interview between Sean

Hannity and Sarah Palin April 12 , 2012 :

http://www.mediafire.com/?wo9bxx7mqma9x1m
Hannity: (8:40min:seconds to 8:46 ) “Alright, Lets talk about the campaign and your convinced Romney’s it now? Do you think it’s pretty much over?”

Palin(8:47 – 9:09 ) “Well let me put it this way, I don’t want Newt to drop out, I don’t want Ron Paul to drop out, because I want debate still on the ideas that both of the other candidates have been able to espouse and explain to the country, I want Ron Paul’s message about cutting the budget, about the economic woeful times that we are in and what we can do about it I want those to continue to be discussed and Newt has some good ideas too.”

Hannity: (9:09-9:22 ) Are you convinced, because you spoke about this at an earlier time during the primary, are you convinced as to time has gone on that governor Romney will govern as a solid strong conservative or do you still have doubts?

Palin: (9:23-9:37 ) “I am convinced that governor Romney, if he is our nominee and if he is elected president, he will know to surround himself with those that will inherently know to go right, to err on the side of smaller, smarter government and that gives me a lot of confidence.”

National Right to Life?????????????????

BECAUSE OF NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE THIS MONSTROSITY BECAME THE LAW OF THE LAND, AND THEY ARE THE MOST RESPONSIBLE.

IF YOU DON’T WANT TO WADE THROUGH THE WHOLE THING JUST READ THE LAST PARAGRAPH:

Evil, or just Stupid?

October/November 2009 and ObamaCare was stalled in the House, the main sticking point being government funded abortions. There were enough Dems opposed to abortion that refused to vote for the ObamaCare if it contained any abortion language that it would not pass.

Representative Stupak (D) MI introduced his amendment that prohibited any government money from ObamaCare bill being used to fund abortions. This essentially would end all abortions, as no medical procedures outside the ObamaCare System can be done. No going to a doctor and paying him directly for anything. Thus, with his amendment, ALL abortions would be illegal.

This amendment to the House bill, if it passed, would give the above ‘Pro-Life’ Democrats a green light to vote for the ObamaCare bill.

Not enough Democrats supported the Stupak Amendment for it to pass. Many Democrats were vociferously opposed to it. It could only pass with Republican votes.

National Right to Life favored the Stupak Amendment, and insisted that Republicans vote for it. Further, they threatened any Republican who didn’t vote for it with their active opposition to that Republican during the 2010 fall election.

The Republicans caved, even those who could see the eventual outcome, right down to the last man. One hundred percent voted for the Stupak Amendment, along with a bunch of Dems who were opposed to abortions. Stupak handily passed.

Nobody believed the Amendment would stick; eventually it would/will be overridden in some fashion and Government funded abortion would become part of ObamaCare. Abortion is the Prime Sacrament of the Left, and will not be denied government funding, let alone be made illegal.

With a green light, the ’Pro-Life’ Dems could vote for ObamaCare, and although many hard-line Leftists were angry, enough of them also could see the end game, and agreed to vote pass ObamaCare.

A couple days later ObamaCare passed the House.

Everyone knew how this would play out, and it did. Rush spoke about it on his show.

I am of the opinion even National Right to Life knew it would play out this way. I’m not aware of anyone who thought otherwise. That leaves us with two opinions of their leadership;

The NRTL is Stupid Strategy;

1. They are so locked into their ‘stop abortion at all costs’ viewpoint that they can’t operate with a strategy that goes beyond 24 hours. Liberals like to say that ‘conservatives are stupid and easily lead’, this situation is circumstantial proof that Leftists are right from time to time. This is the NRTL Stupid Strategy.
OR

The NRTL is Evil Strategy;

2. They were in cahoots with the Pro-Abort crowd on this, and were complicit in getting ObamaCare passed in the House, ObamaCare which will include a monthly premium from all of us to fund abortions. This would be the NRTL Evil Strategy.

Either way, too stupid, or just evil, they are unfit to lead the movement to reduce or end abortions. Their thuggish actions have brought us to the brink of the enslavement of 300 million Americans, ending of the most advanced medical care in the entire history of the world, and will lead, ironically, to Chinese style government mandated and government funded abortions.

I am unaware of any other organization which has played such a pivotal role against Americans and babies in the ObamaCare fight as National Right to Life has.

Now we each personally fund Abortion.

Voting for Mitt is at least an attempt to stop funding abortion.

Claiming purity while admitting that you feel the others have no chance is not a wise approach.

Right. Just ignore the fact that for at least three decades of his adult life including his entire term in office he advocated that abortion should be safe and legal in America and that Roe v Wade should be preserved and sustained as settled law and he only flopped on the right to life when he decided to run for the presidency. Likewise, he’s flopped on EVERY issue important to conservatives. Just shake it up and magically change in an instant from full blown abortionist/homosexualist statist progressive to hard as nails pro-life Reaganite conservative. Damn the record, full steam ahead on false promises. Lying, two-faced, two-bit whore of a politician.

His own team calls him “etch n sketch.” But what do they know?

Anyone stupid enough to think Mitt Romneycare is as likely to do that as Virgil Goode is hardly going to sway social conservatives.

This is an issue Mitt Romneycare owns as much as Obama.

If you are too cowardly to make hard choices, do not be surprized when the easy way you choose turns out to be the broad path to destruction.

I'm choosing Romney over Obama in November

There is not really that much difference. Ill have to hold my nose and give up on my values to vote against 0bama. Every election all I have to vote for is the less vile choice. I am ready to join a real tea party and expect Sarah will win in a landslide in 16. Give me a choice and not RHINO Romney.

I have no idea who they endorsed last time. I voted for Sarah.

Now I have a question for you; as I outlined in my lengthy post, they are either stupid, or evil. I also gave the underlying logic why those are the only two options.

Which one, in your opinion, are they?

How many times are you going to use this April 12 , 2012, article? I wouldn’t believe anything you say on what she ‘supposedly’ said. Deception is mitt’s tool and you are his.

SARAH voted for NEWT and Todd campaigned/voted for him - keep it honest!!

Claiming purity while admitting that you feel the others have no chance is not a wise approach.

You know what is NOT wise - pushing your cult leader through manipulation of facts. Wise up - conservatives DO NOT and WILL NOT BOW to evil. And don't spread YOUR FEAR on us - as misery wants company, wallow in your own deception privately.

I supported and voted for NEWT and your LYING POS cult leader candidate has all those who he easily deceived through those lies - you stupid idiotic voters! Evil is drawn to evil - I AM NOT!!

Since you’ve exercised your right not to answer my simple, straight forward question, I’ll take a stab at it for you.

Based on you #9 posting, it may be a fair assessment that you can’t think of a good reason not to call NRTL an evil organization, but lack the courage to say so.

We must get down on our knees each day and thank God that McCain/Palin didn't win in '08.

DON'T use 'we' - you are nothing, so speak for yourself. What makes a promoter of a cult leader, same sex marriage and baby killing KNOWN LIAR candidate thinks God listens to them?? HE doesn't, you serve another! And don't take GOD'S NAME in vain/for your own agenda!

Satan is the master of LIARS, the god of mitt and barry!

Yes, only Nero or Caligula are likely to win, but when I stand before God I will be able to say that I voted for Constantine. I am not responsible for who wins, only that I do not knowingly support evil.

What if Nero promises to kill 100,000 of your people but Caligula says that 10,000 would be enough for him? If you do not vote for one of them then Nero wins. You then stand before God and tell Him what? That you sat idly on your high horse and did nothing to save 90,000 souls? That you indirectly helped kill them, by remaining silent, but it was the right decision to make?

The US electoral system is in need of overhaul. US politicians of all ranks are nearly all useless. We have problems. But that doesn't allow concerned voters to do nothing. When you stand before God you should be able to say that every decision that you ever made was carefully chosen for the greater good of humanity as you were capable of understanding it. Voting for an unelectable candidate does not meet this criterion. People will be first robbed then killed by Obamacare, and all you can say is that "they had to die because I wanted to take a stand?" I thought that Crime and Punishment already explored a similar problem. Larry Niven did his part as well - his Pak Protectors were genetically unable to take a painful compromise and sacrifice a small part in order to save the whole. God could listen to you and reply: "Millions of babies were killed by Obamacare. I haven't even asked you to sacrifice your life for them - even though you should have. I only asked you to sacrifice your idealism - and you haven't done even that little."

Lenin - however you may despise him - had a very apt word for that. He called them the rotten intelligentsia. This applied to all those impotent intellectuals who were writing poems in support of many stratosphere-high ideals, all unattainable. Lenin's henchmen did not write poems - they went door to door with revolver in hand and they made things happen. Bad things, admittedly - but they were doers, not whiners.

Those who voted for Caligula would be responsible for every death. They alone. Likewise with Nero.

Constantine would kill none.

Desperate twisting on your part, or any other moral.and intellectual coward does not make that not so.

I am not a perfect ideologue, but I do have a minimum standard below which I will not go. You have made it clear that you do not. A lack of courage and integrity on your part in no way equates to any requirement for anyone else to join you so you feel better, nor hold you and others who make the same choice personally accountable.

I have cut people who voted McCain zero slack on immigration and the bailouts in the past years. Had he won I would still have done so, and they would still be ashamed. Make no mistake ... I will be holding Mitt Romneycare’s partisans responsible for their vote...and his policies.

As it should be.
