Rasmussen: Conservative Anger Against Obamacare Hitting 'Stratospheric Levels'
Newsmax ^ | 7/2/12 | Paul Scicchitano and Kathleen Walter

Conservative interest in the presidential election hit “stratospheric levels” following last week’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare, noted pollster and author Scott Rasmussen tells Newsmax.TV.

“All that did was energize conservatives,” declared Rasmussen in an exclusive interview on Monday. “The conservative interest in the election was already much higher than that of moderates and liberals. It went up to really stratospheric levels right after the ruling. We don’t know if that will continue or if it’s just a temporary response to the news cycle.”

Perhaps he is every bit the scoundrel as many posters on FR and elsewhere are convinced.

Perhaps?? No. It is a certainty that Roberts is a very evil human being. His decision is absolutely certain to cause untold misery to tens of millions of Americans.

Robert's decision gave the green light for the Feds to really crank up the sadistic bureaucracies.

Robert's decision has without a doubt greatly increased the power of the State over the individual.

No, the moment he made his decision Robert's sealed his fate. In the decades ahead Roberts will rightfully be scorned and ridiculed by those who cherish our Constitution.

That’s it then. I’m so angry, I’m angry enough to vote for Romney!

>>Conservatives are owners. That is they have a vested interest in the future of the country they love. We don’t burn white hot and then fizzle out like self-serving leftists, including assorted perverts and parasites, condescending useless academics, Union deadasses, and minority racists.

Well said!!

To be Chief Justice and do what he did to the Constitution is evil.

Hey W, meet your legacy.

I expect that the doctors who leave medicine for other careers because of Obamacare will be taxed for NOT practicing their profession.

Romney did and he’s who we’ve got.

Ah, I see the problem. You mistakenly presumed that because I'm a FReeper who votes for conservatives that I consider myself a member of the Republican Party. I do not. Well, there's the reason for any misunderstanding.

I lived in the WDC area for about 30 years. I have often said if the average taxpayer saw even a small portion of the government excess there (overly nice buildings, excessive salaries and benefits and so forth) things wouldn’t be so peaceful. Most of my neighbors and acquaintances had their hands in the till somehow through employment, grants, consulting, etc. Truly...WDC is the Excess Capital of the World.

IIRC, there’s a section in the Act that gives government access to your bank accounts.

>>Judge Roberts intended to kill 3 birds with one stone.

After looking at the ruling, I think the same. Obama is furiously trying to get people to “get over it” and they’re not going to.

“Law was written by Chief Traitor John Roberts, and it cannot be overturned by any civil means at all.”

This IMHO, is not true... The USSC didn’t rule that the tax involved was Constitutional. That can’t even be debated by the Supreme Court until it is brought in front of them. That issue can’t get to the court until someone has to pay the tax and takes it to court.

Roberts didn’t rule that the new tax is Constitutional, only that it was a tax. It’s unfortunate that it came down that way, but it will work it’s way out. Assuming Obamacare survives that long and isn’t repealed.

“Are we cut from the same cloth of the Founders Fathers or not?”

I am. And I agree that “America is dead”. Everything changes, sadly.

IF THE LEFT can use “we can tax your ass ‘cause Roberts said so” as a way of governing, then it is the duty of conservatives to say “Americans are taxed enough”.

Defeatism is unbecoming. November is 18 weeks from tomorrow. LET’S WIN.

Race has nothing to do with this as much as they
would like it to.
Burn him in effigy because he’s a socialist, a communist,
a Jehadist, a traitor to everything that this nation
stands for, a duplicitis liar, any one like this deserves
to feel the depth of our contemp for he is not a fellow
citizen.

I hope we see more effigies get tarred and feathered,
rode out of town on a rail, a problem we have is that
there are not consequences for these miscreants, they
work their wrecking at no price to themselves, of course
they continue to destroy.

You don’t know these things will happen as you say. I have to disassociate myself from posters such as yourself who are acting as judge and jury of Roberts before the storylines play out. You and I are posters on an important online forum, but that alone gives no one’s opinions instant cred. Not mine. Not yours.

“I believe that, in the end, God will remember the people who have been faithful, and visit upon the wicked what they have visited on others.”

Sadly, in the Bible, He did take down entire nations for the sins of a few. (We’re so screwed.)

Our chant should include that.

“We won’t just get over with it”

“Electing more Republicans will solve the problem, now that’s a hoot!!”

Its not about solving problems. For me its about kicking the Democrats in the balls on last time before SHTF.

Exactly.

I was ther a couple of weeks ago, cranes all over the place, swapping out marble on the Federal Buildings on the Mall, multi million dollar spent on "rejuvenating" the lawn, etc.

DC has a problem.

Flyover country is beginning to get the picture without having to visit.

Washingtonians beware.

Your analysis is, as usual (I read your Sunday Bryas), spot on. I don't care if Milt wins ina landslide, I just want him to win in order to remove barry the bastard commie and the thugocracy we see running everything now. I want the czars unemployed. I want the obama regulators gone. I want the VAn Joneses whining fromt he sidelines, the Valery Jarretts cussing from their Chicago mansions not the White House. I want the chance to be a wind for conservative action blowing on the wet finger liber Milt Rominy, rather than what is now occuring, where the president rules US by fiat and has a globalist boss directing his actions and those of the chief unJustice of the Subpreme court.

Many of the same people now insulting anyone who admits they will vote for Romney in order to get the commie shiftless thug out of power were shouting how they were so pure that they would not vote for McCain. BUT, when Sarah was added tot he ticket, they voted for that ticket. I find it astonishing that these same fellow freepers cannot see that they voted for McCain. The all or nothing shreekers insulting some like me would be amusing were it not for the niggling suspicion that they really want to 'teach the GOPe a lesson' so badly that they will wlecome the collapse of the nation to get it done. Then there are those who do not believe four more years will collpase America. For them, I keep posting comments, because we can always hope they wake up to see the real world crumbling around US all.
