Rasmussen: Conservative Anger Against Obamacare Hitting 'Stratospheric Levels'

Conservative interest in the presidential election hit “stratospheric levels” following last week’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare, noted pollster and author Scott Rasmussen tells Newsmax.TV.

“All that did was energize conservatives,” declared Rasmussen in an exclusive interview on Monday. “The conservative interest in the election was already much higher than that of moderates and liberals. It went up to really stratospheric levels right after the ruling. We don’t know if that will continue or if it’s just a temporary response to the news cycle.”

The angry people in 2008 were on the other side. They were so riled up with anger against GWB, they were able to be convinced to get out and vote for Barry.
The shoe is on the other foot this time, isn’t it?

That is very much like the opinion Bob Tyrrell wrote today in The American Spectator. Comparing Roberts to CJ John Marshall in Marbury v. Madison, a rather silly case that Marshall used to implement the principle of Judicial Review, which saved Federalism, and the Court.

Roberts may have save saved the future of the Constitution, while ObamaCare is unworkable and cannot be implemented. Roberts left it up to we, the people to throw it, and him out in November.

My thoughts on this decision have gone back and forth since last week, but now leaning very much to the positive good that Roberts has done in limiting expansion of Federal power under the commerce clause.

We must get over our differences and vote in November to get him out of the White House. NOBAMA!

This ruling did not limit the commerce clause at all. Not one little bit-as has been said out here over & over again. It was dicta....a nothing throw-away line in the ruling. The constitution was changed FOREVER to allow the taxing of inactivity.

How conveniently coincidental that your grandparents are also Lithuanian, and familiar with Soviet oppression. But I have my doubts.

Bottom line, like Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh and others have said, we don't have time to deal with stupid people who refuse to see what this country is up against, who refuse to understand the strategy of what we must now do, to understand the strategy of what must be done. I'll take my opportunities where I can get them...unlike yourself and others like you, I live in the here and now, I am not delusional, and I want to survive this socialist/communist/marxist/revolutionary/sharia law loving thug oboma’s attempt to take over this country and destroy it.

You are still waiting for the perfect candidate to save you...you live in a dream world, are delusional, and you will go down in flames. By all means, do not cast your vote for the option we have...and suffer the huge disappointment of defeat when oboma declares himself dictator for life, and you will not longer be able to cast your vote for any perfect candidate...time just ran out for you and others like you, and you lost both the battle and the war...a war you never had any fire in your belly to win...all talk, no action, and only dreams that will not change the reality of the world we live in, and how to survive it and move ahead.

Move out of the way, we Patriots have no time for you.

I’m not going anywhere.

We have a primary here in Texas where a true conservative, Ted Cruz, is opposing a Myth-Romney-style leftist.. I’m doing everything I can to get Cruz elected.

But anyone who thinks Romney is a “patriot” doesn’t have a clue what the word means.

As for your implying that I lied about my ancestors.....I ‘ll just let others judge what that says about you.

Hank

If you do have Lithuanian grandparents who fled Soviet oppression, you would have learned from them, and you would understand that you cannot stand still, do nothing and wish for things, when reality is biting you in the butt and you must move now to stop the evil. You apparently did not learn from your grandparents’ experience. And they would be appalled at your inability to understand what is at hand, and how to act accordingly. My Bridgeport neighborhood in Chicago, composed of the largest group of emigrant Lithuanians in the USA at one time, held many stories of Soviet oppression, escape and a “never again” warning to those who would listen.

In closing, we both agree that Ted Cruz is a true conservative, and I hope he wins.

And now I'm laying this to rest.

“We need to get a proper perspective and realize that we can prevail.”

So very true. George Washington was an amazing man...I’ve read many a biography on him. Oh how I wish we had a George Washington today.
