Granted i have seen some conservative statements by you but you are intentionally attempting to upset people.

I know GG personally. Although he is sometimes not as tactful as advisable, I think the reason he takes this line is that he's not thrilled with the portent of the backlash that may well be the lot of all American Jews because of the public visibility of the socialists among them.

I think we'd all hate to see a Rabbi Shifren pay for the greeds and misdeeds of so many JINO ACLU lawyers.

Well, seems you have somewhat the same problem with the fortunately rare instances of Jewbacca’s ire as do I.

However, the real issue is that I am concerned about the obstinate clinging to collectivism/socialism by the large majority of American Jews. It has long been a fear of mine that eventually the patience of America’s largely Christian population may take offense at the collectivism/socialism in which Jews play a disproportionate part.

Jews came to America first from the Caribbean and settled in Charleston and Neuw Amsterdam. Note that the colony management in Amsterdam were not in favor of the Jews settling in Neuw Amsterdam, but Stuyvesant wanted the numbers of people and their skills.

Summation: Jews arrived later and were welcomed as long as they took care of their sick & elderly and were not a burden on society. Smart move on Stuyvesant’s part, as Jews were often the best physicians of their era.

All went well until the Jewish migrations from Germany and Russia who brought their “Brown Shirt Communism” and “Red Shirt Communism” with them.

As another FReepers have pointed out, for years, America’s Jews are disproportionately represented in the “Hallowed Halls of the Academented”. My choice of “academented” is considered, as because a case can be made that no people have suffered under socialism more than Jews, yet they persevere in their commitment to and contribute to, work for, and support for socialism - despite the Third Reich’s National Socialism.

Now I come to what is what I feel may be your complaint - my choice of words. So - why did I use the overt ‘snark’ in the use of “academented”? I could have used more Politically Correct terms. However, there are some thing I do not do. No windows, no bowls, NO PC SPEEK!

If the chattering of the academented has done nothing to raise awareness of the above issue, I have to get the attention of those involved in the issue. Just as the Southerner knows that when the mule gets ‘mule-ish’ the answer sometimes is a “2X4 upside the head”, if I have rendered that saying accurately.

In no small part, American Jews have been both the generals and the soldiers in the charge for socialism in America. While this may have been for the best of intentions, it is also true that as government has expanded into areas far beyond the Constitution’s carefully crafted bounds.

My coreligionists have been rather disproportionately represented at the government feeding trough. Yup - I deliberately used another PC forbidden term, but when the government is paying people for activities that are “un-Constitutional” and charging future generations, I feel justified in raising the issues in any way which may cause at least some discussion.

Better to be accused of “trolling” than letting the issues be ignored.

In closing, I am of the opinion that if Americans had been educated in other than the Prussian modelled Pooblik Skool Collective, the public would have known better than allowing government to do charity. The sad reality is that government usually collects $4 to give $1 to the needy. We can’t afford government charity!

What has the above to do with the issue of Jews in government jobs or taking covernment contracts?

I recommend Googeling “Congressman Davy Crockett” and “Horatio Bunce”. I recommended it because it is somewhat more close to out time than the Founders Era. But the message is the same.

As for Jewbacca’s fear that the average Jewish guy will conclude conservatives are anti-Semites if my posts are read by said “average Jewish guy”, hard data and history can’t hurt. Wasn’t something said about the duty of a Jewish male being to have a family and study the Law?

I suggest non-revisionist history and study of America/American Law in light of Mosaic Law may be acceptable to G*d.

As the Christian would say, the truth shall set you free.

At the least, it may be a vaccine against the lies that are socialism. It couldn’t hoit!

And it might help.
