A wealthy Hispanic executive who makes a fortune dealing with the Hispanic market is on the march to eradicate the term “illegal immigrant.” Charles Patrick Garcia, writing on the CNN website, lauds the U.S. Supreme Court for eschewing the use of “illegal immigrant” and instead utilizing the term “removable alien.”
Garcia writes:
The court's nonjudgmental language established a humanistic approach to our current restructuring of immigration policy.
When you label someone an "illegal alien" or "illegal immigrant" or just plain "illegal," you are effectively saying the individual, as opposed to the actions the person has taken, is unlawful. The terms imply the very existence of an unauthorized migrant in America is criminal. In this country, there is still a presumption of innocence that requires a jury to convict someone of a crime. If you don't pay your taxes, are you an illegal? What if you get a speeding ticket? A murder conviction? No. You're still not an illegal. Even alleged terrorists and child molesters aren't labeled illegals.

Me too, by sealing the borders and giving out huge fines, and possibly jail time, for anyone who hires illegals.
This way NO illegals would remain in America and we would NEVER have to speak of them again!!!
I read it and honestly tried to make some sense out of it. It’s all just bable to try and confuse the issue.
OK, then start calling ‘em “Alleged Illegal Aliens”...and allegation needs a court hearing....take it to court and then we’ll find out if they did the crime of being an illegal alien.

Personally, I support this lawyer 1000%! I would NEVER use the term “illegal immigrant”; that is blatantly ignorant. I prefer to use the term “illegal alien”, as that succinctly and perfectly describes one who snuck into this country illegally and is an ‘alien’ with respect to citizenship status.

They are here from another nation illegally; thus they are “Illegal Aliens!” The left ivariably plays with words. The illegal remains here because the Euro American who made this country have become sick, have lost their confidence, their vision and are leaderless. The argument that the invader is our equal, legally, culturally, intellectually and morally has been accepted.
