They never lied to a judge, you’re repeating a lie.
In court, Shelly Zimmerman testified that she didn’t know exactly how much was in the account, as the account was controlled by Zimmerman’s brother. She offered, in court, to get the brother on the phone. The persecutor declined the offer. No lie was ever made about how much was in the account. The perjury charges against her won’t stick.
But they will still serve to pauperize the Zimmermans.
The goal here is to set an example with them, pour encourages les autres.
Even tho' it's a typo, it's still more accurate than the intended word. This is definitely a persecution.
She was asked if the brother was in a location where he could give sworn deposition. No, but he has an honest voice.
