Seeing as you posted a Bible verse, I figured I would post my comments to you. I agree with the author that there is something called “the good life”. And while I work hard to earn money and have a reasonable income and enjoy all that having money can bring - money has very little to do with what makes living “good”.
Not that I am in ANY WAY agreeing with this nut. DOING THINGS and creating things is part of God’s plan for us. And if someone wants to pay us for that - GREAT! And for us to strive and work hard at what we do is also part of God’s plan. But that in itself, and the rewards we get for those efforts, do not, IMHO, lead to the “good life”.
Has a lot to do with whether you can by a house or even food. No more homestead land left at least, I don't think there is.
